Hi Josh! Try bringing the screen in closer and lowering it down - you want to try fill as much of your peripheral vision as possible for the best immersion. Then adjust the in game FOV and seat positioning so that your physical steering wheel is in line with the cockpit in game, at this point you can also change the settings ingame and hide the wheel and hands as they are replaced by your own! 🤣 Not to self plug - but we posted a video on a DIY base shaker mod which would also work really well for your setup at a fraction of the cost of an off the shelf unit. Really enjoying the sim racing content, look forward to seeing more! 😁
I would get a much higher NM direct drive wheelbase. I tried everything up to the new Logitech DD Pro and ended up returning it to get a Simucube 2 Pro. Everything before the Simucube didn't provide a real enough sensation for me personally. Properly satisfied now. Load cell pedals (Simgrade VX-Pro pedals are what I am using). I would like to add feedback to them. Sim3D Rumble kit for example or you could DIY with some Dayton audio products. Transducers add so much immersion and satisfaction to the experience and is much cheaper and less work than motion. Motion would be great if you have the connection and/or pockets for it. VR is great if you have air conditioning or see if Samsung will send you their 57 incher :). Triples are of course a great if you have the space. Cockpit looks great and I'm sure the seat is the most practical one but I do love the looks of a proper bucket seat. I found a BMW E46 seat for 20 bucks and wired it to a 12 volt power supply. Super comfy and you have full electronic adjustment/lumbar support. Kind of hilarious tbh. ACC has some of the best feedback feel imo but give dirt rally 2.0 a go if you haven't.
Awesome setup! I have the same cockpit. I’m curious how you got the handbrake on the aluminum profile? The hardware that came with the handbrake doesn’t fit the sliders. Enjoy the new upgrades!
Wow that's insanely nice that's so awesome i have my first wheel and wheel stand and that looks so good awesome job, A G923 and a gt omega wheel stand 👍👍
If you wanna be faster, definitely upgrade the pedals. If you buy a loadcell brake, you will become faster! Loadcell brakes make it so you brake by force, rather than pedal travel, which will make you be more consistent in your braking. :)
I was going to make my own cockpit, but liking this variant with the wheels. I plan to use it with a 120" 4k projection screen connect to a 4080. Can you maybe pin the rest of the gear. The cockpit -- looks like I can use with a projector, Moza stuff, need the wheels to just move it out of the way when not in use. Would like to add a bass shaker to the seat.
There is also the lite variant of the prime cockpit, it's cheaper/lower profile but seems to be just as sturdy. Just added the rest of the gear to the description, should all be there now!
I clicked the code just cause of the coffee machine lol if you buy a Vitamix with the AER attachment its the same style Starbucks uses and you get the same results for there cold foam drinks thank me later.
What should we upgrade next? 👀
where is the discord link bro hahaha
oh damn I forgot lemme put it in description xD@@heydeonhere
Motion👀
done and joined the fam! yay@@TechTesseract
next should be a proper racing simulator .. like a simucube ultimate with active pedals.. :D
Building a sim rig myself very soon and this has got me very hyped for it now! Awesome vid as always
The RGB strips are SUCH a rad addition. Sim is looking amazing y'all!
ay thanks dude!
You need to add a Bass Shaker to the bottom or back of the seat.
It makes the seat shake to simulate the bump of the road or when you crash.
Tempted to try the NLR HF8 haptic pad since its also a lot quieter
Get some Buttkickers

Awesome setup! I have the same cockpit. I’m curious how you got the handbrake on the aluminum profile? The hardware that came with the handbrake doesn’t fit the sliders. Enjoy the new upgrades!
I just used the slightly longer bolts that came with the prime cockpit, had loads spare and worked no problem!
Bro having million dollar setup and is happy for saving cents 😂❣

my friend 9T7 also got them for free to review 🥰🥰🥰
Awesome!
@TechTesseract Did you need 2 of the RGB ropes ?
Yah
are u using 2 neon ropes? or a DYI one cut in half?
BTW, YOU'RE THE BEST! Huge fan from Portugal here 🌅
We are using two ropes, all you need to do is cut them on the dots where they say on the side and your good to go!
@@TechTesseract So I'll have to use two different power supplies. I hope that govee will one day create a solution that give us more flexibility 😁
Honestly if you really wanted to you could probably solder the 2 cut pieces together, I just happened to have 2 lying around xD
what a cool setup
Glad you like it!
Radical!
That screen is so far away, it needs to be much closer for sim racing.
🔥🔥
Have you ever thought of doing a budget Sim set up that way people get look at both expensive and budget Sim apps
Alright... someone's getting spoiled over there. 😂
I'm running out of room already xD
@@TechTesseract Just add an extension onto the place. I'm sure the office wouldn't mind. 😂
Why didn't I think of that 🤔 🤣

haha I'll definitely look into it!
Set the right steering degree angle for F1, formula is turning more than it should be
link to coffee maker?
Just added it to description! It's the creatista plus
Just WOW 😯😯😯
Me encanta como lo tienes montado, acabo de ver mi sueño plasmado en esa habitación.
i'm a wee bit jelly
Get the odyssey 55 inch
Could do!
but i cant buy a coffee machine
Wish racing wheels were cheaper
Amazon has the logitech g920 for $220, that was my first wheel - although for $399 the moza r3 bundle is a pretty good option!
@@TechTesseract thats the one ive have been eyeing but its too much maybe one day ill find one used around the $100 range
