How blessed are these young brothers to have the quran in their hearts. I am trying to memorize the quran and I am finding it so difficult. All the years I have wasted when my time could have been utilised studying and memorising the quran. Now in my 40s my brain is flooded with bills/ worldy worries, and finding it so frustrating to find time to memorise the book of Allah. Please make dua that I do not leave this world without the quran in my heart.
As a 33-year-old mother of three young children who is also struggling with memorization of Quran, I pray that Allah facilitate the journey for you and for me. Like you said, may we not leave this world without the entire Quran in our hearts. Ameen.

Alhamdulillah I completed my hifz quran 21 years before in 2003 when I was 19. And I recite the Qur'an in taraweeh in the jama masjid of my city belgaum india with my cousin each year alhamdulillah. We two brothers and two cousins are Hafiz by Allah's grace. Reciting the Qur'an, my readers, success will find you and Allah will never let you down in this world and in the hereafter. I watched it until the end, he gave really useful information, my brother Yunus, may God bless him, also my favorite is Yasser Al Dosary, so I'm happy that we have the same tastes with Yunus
To memorize the Qur'an you would need a personal Sheikh who will give time to you only, he should be strict and he should have the determination to make you a Hafiz. You need to have the determination to memorize the Qur'an as well. Alhamdulillah I am memorizing the Quran as well. It took me 5 months to memorize almost 6 Juz. I took a lot of break in between due to lack of consistency. I lost it because in the beginning there was a sheikh who used to give me time everyday except Saturday. And by that I memorized Surah Baqara in around 35 days. Then the sheikh got a little busy by getting into other business he has, and then we decided to not continue. Then I lost the consistency. It is tough to remain consistent but alhamdulillah I have contacted with that sheikh again and InshaAllah we are going to continue this journey again. I started memorizing Quran 5 months ago and I am planning to memorize the Qur'an in just a year. Pray for me that I can achieve that. 🙏

Would be interesting to at some point have some of their parents as guests to understand the challenges and the way in which they approached supporting their child not only in Islamic studies but secular studies also.

MashAllah, what an amazing testimonial. May Allah reward you abundantly as well as your parents who are clearly great parents. I became a Muslim 10 years ago alhamdulillah. I have just started my journey towards memorizing the Quran. I'm still in juz Amma, alhamdulillah. I have a 3 year old son and I really want him to fall in love with the Quran and with the deen like I did. Please remember me and him in your du'as. My biggest fear is that my son falls into the fitna around us. May Allah preserve all of our children and keep us on the straight path. May be you could also interview the parents of the hafidh? May be they could give us some interesting insight into raising kids in the deen in this day and age.

You have done him a great injustice to be honest , what a phenomenal humble man ,I myself am a student with sheikh Amr, and I am absolutely mesmerised and forever indebted to his dedication time and genius strategies in correcting my hifth and tilawah. I was saddened to only hear you mention his name and nothing of his work and dedication with you of which I am certain that two years will have greatly impacted your journey . forgive my criticism , it is but for the love of the truth and to إعطاء ذوي الحق حقهم .

The household environment is very crucial. Parents gotta be religious and guiding.
