I would’ve have a game set in the Rez. A Native American protagonist would allow some public perspective of their livelihood
They tried to do that with infamous second son but like most Native media made by non Natives they used a made-up tribe instead of an actual one, still a good game though

God I lived on a reservation for 17 yrs, this show is alright kinda made the rez culture seem so corny more than it already was
That’s my issue with it. Seems like all the Natives love it and I took a lot of flack for saying I have a problem with it. But it portrays Native Americans in a negative light. And yeah, I know there are a lot that face realities similar to this. But there’s just as many who dont.
To me, it feels like we’re airing dirty laundry for other people to point and laugh at.
Imagine the only black representation on film was Menace 2 Society and Boyz In The Hood. You dont think that would affect how people would view black culture?

Most Mexican people are Mestizos, mixed American Indians. The same goes for the people, that were already here when the US annexed the southwest. The whole thing gets pretty subjective, when you go into the details.
Considering people like the Tejanos, in South Texas. Are pretty much related to the Lipan Apache that lived there. Although became assimilated over time. Yet have patches and snippets of native culture, through folklore and natural remedies.
