How do you pick out catch cans?
I don't own a Jeep and probably won't for another 4 to 5 years but I love your videos, your charisma and with respect your gutsy attitude. Sitting on the edge of my seat hoping your Step Child doesn't roll over. Thanks for you guys being you.
Much appreciated!
You two are tremendously helpful for JL owners wanting to build their jeeps!
If there is an issue, you provide solutions, and put our minds at ease! Thank you for your dedication to the Brand!
Michael is helping you guys and your picking on him...... My kind of people. I love you guys
Kevin found the bolt Mike dropped, he did his part! That is super clean, but remember to keep the stock line in case you ever decide to demod or transfer to another vehicle. That lady's face was hilarious!
Buying the black, painting it Punk’n. Hadn’t even thought of this. What a terrific, and cheap, performance tweak! Love it!!
You guys always appreciate your fans....a recipe for success!
I am so glad u brought this to everyone's attention. We installed one on ours a year ago .money well spent. Should be on all vehicles period from the factory. Lol
It is absurd that Jeep didn't do the necessary R&D to enable this off roader to operate at extreme angles
These keep coming up in my recommended list the last few days so I keep clicking but I'm glad they have cause you guys are great to watch. I am on my 4th jeep so i have watched probably thousands of these over the years but I think yours are the first ones I have actually watched all the way through and listened instead of just getting to the part I need to hear. Brittany you are one of the most captivating, stunning, gorgeous, attractive, beautiful adorable girls I have seen in a long time next to mine of course :) Every guy and his brothers uncles cousins dad has a RUclips video out there on how to do mods but your the one making this channel stand out different because not only are you hot but you can talk the talk when it comes to the tech too and make it funny. Thats awesome. Keep up the good work and keep making videos. my family is from Pueblo so maybe I will see you guys on the trail one of these days.
Another fantastic video! Very sweet of y'all giving them the sunshade! Keep those great videos coming my friends!!!
You guys are great, thanks for sharing another great fix. IMO, Jeep should have addressed the 'burning oil at an incline' issue before that let it out their door.
You two are goals for real I wish you two the best🙌🏽💕
The innuendo is strong with this one😂😂😂😂😂don't leave kev and Michael alone in dark spaces😂😂😂😂
I was thinkin more of Brit and Michael
@@boughtnotbuiltoffroad7784 😂😂😂😂😂
It’s like you’ve been fixing or adapting motors for quite a while. I Learned something new this morning. 👍🏼😎
I really loved this video with the interaction with your subscribers it was nice of you guys to take a minute to meet them.
y'all had more fun meeting Shannon and Steve than them meeting you, too funny. Great video input for the Jeep.
That was so neat you meeting one of your subscribers or 2 out in the middle of no where. Your both such a neat cute couple - I know that I have said have it before but heck one more time can’t hurt LOL. I used to be a really out going person but that time I rolled my other Willy’s I sustained a brain in jury when my head hit the roof that has left me some what insecure about somethings - PTSD. I live in the Colorado Springs area hopefully I will someday get well enough in my brain to meet you both. Thanks your videos help me more than you both could ever imagine, Cheers
I agree that should be factory equipment on a Jeep. Such a cheap easy fix to a problem. Great pay it forward at the end, you guys are wonderful Jeep people, keep up the excellent work.
Nice Vid again!! Welcome Michael (a little late, I know), you're fitting in that crew perfectly!! Cool triumvirate now!!
Awesome install video...always an adventure when you guys install products, good times . Kevin being Kevin for the whole video....lol...good ending Kevin 💪😀......that was so kool with the ending subscribers, good way of meeting. You 2 are simply wonderful. Safe travels
Addressing some comments. The lack of a catch-can is not a design flaw or mechanical deficiency from Jeep. The vast majority of Jeep owners are not operating their vehicle the same way as Lite Brite, so this is a textbook upgrade. Upgrades in the same way people do with Toyotas, Fords, Chevys, etc.
Nice spontaneous meet and give away! You guys rock!!!
Great product. I found it much easier to take the can off of the mount from the top and then attach just the mount itself to the manifold. I then attached the can to the top of the mount, per the instructions. Of course, I didn't figure that out until fighting with trying to get the screw into the bottom of the mount through the manifold as you guys did. I do realize I now have to surrender my man card for reading the instructions.
Cool video, nice clean install. You don't need a turbo, go with a supercharger instead. Really nice unit that fits on top of the engine, awesome unit, 6 psi for safe level boost. Keep those videos coming.
I always find answers to my questions on the next video... thanks for this one on the catch can! :)
UPR now has a kit for the 2012-2018 JK Jeep Wrangler as well. Part number - 5038-240
Smiles and laughs, subbed and always a thumbs up!!
Very cool. Don't know if I'll ever need this not quite as extreme as you guys, but never say never. Least I know it's out there now. Thanks.
Super cool! Congrats Steven and Shannon!
Clever. Great idea. thanks for the tip guys and happy 2019
I definitely want to do this upgrade on my JK... Looking forward to seeing this in action and no more smoke! I am sure you will make that video happen. haha
Great install vid on the oil catch can, enjoyed it.
Great video guys (as usual)! Will you do a follow up video and show us what contaminants have been removed by the catch can? That would be nice! Thank you!
Gotta love it, rewardin the jeep wave!!
Great video! Keep up the great content!
You would think Jeep would address these issue I guess not lol another great video guys !
Good video, great ending. You made their day.
you guys are the best!!
First, I enjoy following your adventures with your JLU and seeing some of your modifications and your commentaries.
I recently installed a UPR catch can in my 2018 JLU after reading many reviews on catch cans. I also watched your video several times before installing mine. I have a couple of suggestions for others wanting to install one of these on their 3.6l JL. (1) To install the mount to engine, I placed the allen screw on to the allen wrench and then tightened the mount. No issue of dropping screw. (2) The removal of the existing PCV tubing should be done with care, ensuring that all the clips on passenger side are unclipped. Wiggling the hose out will ensure that nothing else get ripped out because there are a couple of hoses tucked in that same area. (3) The placement of the clean hose takes a little work.
Keep up the reviews and videos.
great stuff guys....you made their day !!!!....thats awesome.....
You guys are awesome! That was so cool to give Steven and Shannon a free Spiderweb Shade. I paid $200 for mine. :( LOL. Definitely gonna install the catch can though. Can't wait to meet you guys on the east coast!
Thanks for the upload. Ill be ordering one today
Great info, the ending was the best.
I’m really waiting to see how much oil it catches. It will be interesting if you do a follow up on this to show how much oil is going threw the system.
Such knowledge! Much wow!
Yes Jeep needs to add that part stock or at least as a order fat. add on!!! Love it!!!
HEY NOW! Kevin fished out that bolt mighty fast, GF! Be nice to him! ;)
I had a catch can on my Hellcat - best thing ever
Turbo and 40s next. Right Kevin ? Great install video , I run a catch on my TJ and it helps a lot . Where's my little buddy Jelly , she needs to be in the video's too !!! That giveaway to that couple was awesome !!! You guys rock !!! Take care !!!
moab wheeling She was in the backyard playing during this video. 😅😅
Great video, thank you!
Great video. Thank you.
Looking forward to the turbo install!
PS your videos are great zoned out coffee got cold 😂
Nice mod, great video again, "it won't be stock soon"!
Looking forward to y'all getting a turbo!
cool simple fix for a common problem!
I would have lost that bolt too; very nice couple there at the end.
I have a UPR dual valve catch catch on my eco boost mustang. I love it. You guys should install a mini ball valve so that it’s easier to drain.
Nevermind, it doesn’t seem like you can since you can screw the bottom off.
Catch cans are common in Australia for Diesels not so much for petrol
It’s good to see Kevin in the videos much more than he used to be. Keep that up!
Quick question for you guys. I understand its cold there now and all, but how come up never remove your doors and hardtop? Have always seen them both on for every single video. Just wondering.
Alex Winters It’s usually either a matter of temperature, dust, or having no where to leave the doors or top (if it’s a straight through trail and if we’re traveling).
So cool doing a giveaway right on the highway.
You guys seems to spend a lot of time at 45 degrees+, so it might be worth while investigating a different type of sump pan, so you reduce any oil feed issues and increase capacity.
Sooo cool the end. ✌️
Great video. Any downsides to a catch can?
Great video. I have a quick question. Do they make the BILLET OIL CATCH CAN for the JK
If anyone calls and finds out, can you post here and let us know? Price too would be nice...
ironic, I just installed one of these myself 2 days ago, good choice!
Looks like you can take the spacer off the catch can and start it on the upside down bolt first spinning it by hand while holding the bottom bolt and then put the can on saving all the 1/4 turns? Nice job. No Jelly? Only came for puppy!
Good fix , now what about jy motors in-line 6 ?
You guys make great videos, Kevin’s comic relief in the back ground keeps everything light and loose.
Keep up the good work and we’ll keep watching.
I have choosed the Mann Provent 200 wich I think is the best catch can in the world
That’s so freaking dope you guys!!! Way to pay it forward!
Awesome, extremely easy to install! Cool they recognized you, How could they not! I said you'd help sell JL Jeep and Parts! Hahahaha Haha!
Congrats to the nice people who didn't recognize kev's beautiful face but still won the spider shade! poor kev, this is exactly why i mention in every comment that he needs a special episode all for himself! #Kev-isode!
When are you coming to Oregon to do some wheeling?
Need to research this catchcan thing for my JK...
Love your Videos. I just getting started ramping back up into the 4x4 world. Do you guys ever let people know when and where you are going to be so we might join the fun of breaking stuff?
Lary Plessinger Yes, we’love actually be uploading a video within the next week of our 2019 schedule along with uploading the schedule to our website!
@@LiteBrite so kool, i'll look forward to it. And thx for replying, I feel so special......😁
She is amazing !!!!
so what is the oil that you guys run and have you done a used oil analysis on it?
I don't own an JL but that's a cool install.
Cool so they make a version for my I6 4.0 Jeep LJ???
So instead in burning oil out of the smoke you're going to catch the oil and hold it in a container and it's chicken 3000 miles I like the fact that the oil is burned out and gone but the downside is it smokes as it does it correct? Also where did you buy this and what does it retail for ?
Hi guys What brand was the steering assist you installed? Did it fix the sloppy steering at 60 plus on the new JL?
awesome video, now I must get me a catch can, easy install also, half a banana :)
I noticed the smoking watching that one video. Interesting. They should move the connection on the valve cover to the cdnter. But that is a great idea with the catch can.
Richard Miller maybe an after market cover with connection in the center will come out. That would be nicer. The catch can sticks out too much.
I hope because of all the times you’ve been burning smoke. I hope you have changed your spark plugs a couple times?
Nice… great job.. and solution
To what many would run back to the dealer for… catch can
you guys are awesome you know that right?! LOL!!!!
Don't put a turbo in it... PUT TWO TURBOS IN IT!
BROJAK HORSEMALE DONT GIVE HIM IDEAS!!
TURBO, Kevin is thinking correctly.
That chrysler will blow up in 20 minutes
Dont know why this episode just popped up as current but I mind as well comment..I had one of these catch cans and the fitting on passenger side leaked and took out my 02sensor. I have since took it off and went to the Mishimoto version with no issues.
Grimmspeed makes one that goes onto the oil fill cap. That way the oil bypass returns back into the oil pan. Running it on my Sti
🇮🇹 bellissimo video 😃 amico complimenti 👍🏼 continua cosi 🦈
🇬🇧 beautiful video 😃 friend congratulations 👍🏼 keep it up 🦈
🇮🇹🦈🇮🇹
What do you do when your doing down a steep decline and all your oil goes to the front of the oil pan and your oil pick up can’t get any oil?
I agree every vehicle should have those
Will you guys post a video of the results you get from the catch can after 3000 miles or a wheelin trip? Curious to see what it collects.
Nathan Chermok Yes!
ordered!!!
Cool that you guys are wheeling with Brenden Fraiser.
Do you have an updated product page with an affiliate link? The one in your video description goes to a 404. I'd like to support you for helping me out- I just had the same problem with my Gladiator.
Nah. Just message UPR and tell them we sent ya
If Jeep vented the valve cover through the middle of the valve cover instead of the rear end, intake oil probably wouldn't even be an issue. It seems like a weird place to vent from but there must be a logical reason for it.
How many miles does the Jeep have now? Any issues besides trail damage?
After watching a bunch of your mods, it almost seems like half of them should already be in the Rubicon package. I'm with Kevin, catch can should be stock. Also, have you thought about getting a gimbal for your phone camera? One of my friends has one for the videos he does on his phone. pretty smooth. Great videos!!!!
Brandon Castle We have a gimbal, I just don’t use it often cause I’m not used to it. 😅😅 Gonna try to get some practice on the upcoming trip
Gimbal will make your videos silky smooth. I hope you use it in the future!
