Rebaked a lot of the truck with lower bake settings to improve performance

This has to be the best truck mod out there. They absoluttely killed it
I know the whole point of these videos is looking at them and making your decision with information. I just don't know if this truck is worth $80. Not to say they haven't done a lot of work on it. But it just seem like an inflated price on a single truck. I guess it is my measuring stick. Not to say this group needs to lower the price of the tuck or anything but you can clearly tell that there are levels at which you have to make decisions based on what you want to set up. (how much you want to commit to this game) Still the truck looks great just not for me.
Truck is not 80. Truck , 4 Trailers, A custom yard etc is 80
@@MikePettGaming Doesn't change that you are spending $80 for the truck. Don't get me wrong it is great that the mod comes with trailers, unless you are someone who rather picks up loads from places instead of driving with a trailer. Then you are buying an $80 truck. (I like more variety with loads so just doing the freight market allows me to pick what I want to hall instead of buying one of each trailer and constantly switching them out) And don't get me wrong they have nice trailers. They are a great group. But they seriously should have the truck standalone, and not force the trailers. Just sell the truck for $40 and sell the truck bundled with the trailers for $80.
And I know you have covered Jon Ruda, I can basically buy the same thing, with an extra trailer for $20 less(not to mention the road stars bundle which is 4 trucks for $100 or the American Dream bundle with the trailers for $120). Maybe not the same graphics fidelity as this truck and their trailers, but at what point is it too much. When you spend most of the time inside the truck. Most people will build out one truck they like maybe fiddle with a couple things here and there and most of the rest goes to waste. In some cases less is more.
@@mat99richjon rude is not on Pizzster quality. Again Pizzsters truck comes with 4 trailers and a yard. These aren't your average trailers and the trailers are always getting updates. This is my favorite truck in the game and I have many mods including the $100 mod Rollin 389. Not to mention the community staff is great. I had an issue with my truck on my end and someone took over my computer and fixed it in 5 minutes. With the quality and what they have they should charge more better get it for $80 before they go up
@@Jscruggs5 I am going to say this in the nicest way possible, you don't have to defend your purchase to me. As I said, it is not worth it to me, we all find value in different things. The reason I mentioned Jon Ruda, is because they are good quality and decently priced. I can switch it up between a couple of trucks, (right now been enjoying the cab over) and just chill out. $80 on the other hand for I will say is a nice truck, is not worth it to me, because it is only purchasing the truck, now maybe in a couple of years I will get more into driving a trailer around and the quality of their trailers are nice it might be worth it at that point. But they say on the page(don't get me wrong it could always change) that they are not changing the price on the Truck. I just think they should sell it as just the truck without the trailers for $40. And I would have been all over the mod, but for $80 where I don't see the value in it is a hard purchase to make. But that is my opinion. I never said the truck was on par with Jon Ruda,(or vice versa) I just was making the point of what I could purchase at similar or less money a 389/379 and 5 trailers for $60 vs this mod for $80. So depending on what you see value in can change you mindset. Maybe the fact that you can see the engine color with this mod might be enough, The only downside I have had with the Jon Ruda 389 was not able to put a headache rack on the truck. which might be me missing it on the thing when I was customizing my truck.
I do understand where you are coming from but if you had to choose a single paid add on for ATS, I would without a doubt say this would be the way to go. With the truck as said before comes with trailers and yard but the community behind it is incredible. I am a huge PM supporter being that I have bought every thing they have made, in addition I have bought about everything you can get your hands on for this sim, this is the very best thing you can do for yourself if you want to invest in your happiness in game.

The DC max is legally considered a day cab due to it being less than 36 in deep

Game doesn’t support that kind of animation to work properly. You would need to have different variables of exhaust pressure coming out of the exhaust and that doesn’t exist in the game

Wish my game would work and not crash when launching the game so I could use Pizzster 389
If your game has any crashes you can post your game log in the ATS SUPPORT section of the discord and someone may be able to find your issue

@MikePettGaming I have the wheel I need a shifter for trucks. To be honest driving a truck and trailer is easier in real life then this sim lol. Are there any free mods that are good outside of steam workshop? Steam workshop mods seem like trash.

You may have to update the ModGuard as well. I saw that noted in their discord

Sounds good but business wise. Doing mods for sale is not a productive way to give back to people in the long run. Never believe that the price goes above $50. I just hope that it never happens but if more people follow the pay mod thing. It will go down because family is first in expenses….our vehicles we drive and truck drivers have to pay insurance and other bills….than a general $70 dollar mod for a game as I discovered from other creators or small businesses.
Though I hope the mod business works in the long run. If not, do something different and keep moving forward 👍

What do you mean? This is the truck. All the trailers get updated quite frequently with tons of new loads

$80 dollars for just a truck?? Fuck that. Sure might look good but I Wouldn’t pay more $20 Canadian for any truck. That just rip off and creators just being greedy. The fact they charging more the what ATS is currently worth on steam is just being greedy. Don’t care how good truck looks or feels. It’s not worth $80 even if included trailer or engine mod.
If it’s not your flavor, then it is what it is right? I enjoy it and other mods out there. Not everyone wants to spend their hard earned money on things they find frivolous but for those of us that do, this is one of those purchases that will keep you entertained for hours upon hours. It’s a fun hobby…..enjoy it how you want!

Any expensive mod is worth it if you like it enough to buy it
