I gotta say, pioneer are amazing. I was shopping for a car audio receiver, and simply couldn’t get around one model. Then i went on youtube for more information and end up finding a gold mine of truly informative content from Pioneer themselves!!! I am buying this receiver for sure.
Something strange happened. When I first installed it, I was able to access the Device Settings menu and was able to control Audio, illumination, and System in the app. But now when I open it, the Device Settings is no longer present.

No it is not. The ARC app is meant to bring a touch screen interface to in dash receivers that do not have a touch screen. The ARC app works with 2016, 2017 and up Pioneer receivers that don't have touch screens.

Deckerd Otto I discovered I had to keep my phone physically connected for those options to appear.
