I went from 150 to 300 mg and the diffrence were huge. I felt clear minded, positive, funny, outgoing, social, ready to conquer, make plans, everything that I have previously missed. However around 6 PM, (takes it 9 AM,) the effect goes off and I feel a little bit anxious and the contrast is between good and bad is enormously. Besides a little bit anxiety and not feeling sharp when it goes off I have not experienced any side effects. I have heard many people at internet forum claiming that "honey moon period" will go away and you'll start to loose the effects of wellbutrin. What do you guys say? I have been on this medication for almost 14 days. I am scared and anxious about not being able to feel how I feel on 300 mg because that is literaly the best feeling I have always missed, without it feeling drug like like amphetamines etc... With that I mean no loss of aptite, sweating, grinding teeth etc.

I also have nicotine patches and the gum, I haven't used any of the patches yet and I may not but the gum is helpful at work. How does Wellbutrin feel compared to adderall/stimulants?
I have ADD and anxiety/depression, and have been on stimulants for a decade.
Now, the side effects of adderrall-horrible anxiety, overactive CNS, etc- have gotten really bad for me, and I am trying to stop adderall.
My doc suggested Wellbutrin. I am concerned that it will feel just like adderall, with all the similar side effects I am trying to get away from.
Can someone advise me on this? Does Wellbutrin feel at all similar to adderall in this regard?

If I were to compare Wellbutrin to Adderall, I'd say Wellbutrin is 10 times weaker, but for me that's a good thing. Wellbutrin helps me with motivation and energy, but nowhere near the level that Adderall did. However, Adderall would apparently make me uptight and irritable, and Wellbutrin doesn't.
