This could be like some alt credits music. Imagine going through a whole run; seeing so many different galaxies, going through hell and back. And you hear this music play with all these tracks you heard now as one big song while all those names scroll up.
This sounds right, like as if this is how the soundtrack was meant to sound. The little "previews" of Last Stand and Federation in the other tracks mix so well with the real thing, and best of all they all work in perfect harmony!

Interesting opinion... But I don't think this would be the Flagship's theme.. I think it definitely fits the Last Stand overall, but not the Flagship specifically... I've been comparing the two soundtracks for some time, and I've realized that the original Last Stand music is far more serious compared to this. Therefore, I think this mashup would likely be the sector's normal music, and then when you first encountered the boss, the original Last Stand would play. Additionally, if it weren't to become that, then I think it would be great for a sort of FTL ending where you had all the races, even the hostile ones, working together to overthrow the Rebellion... It really fits that, given that it has themes from just about every sector. Really good music!
