@@HappyBox21In Colorado you do not need one. You actually don’t need it in most states. I’m looking into it myself since it’s less than $500 to get started and you can literally make your money back with your first 2-3 clients!

Ive been reading saying there’s no teeth whitening certification bc only dentist and hygienist are allowed to do it unless the client isn’t being touched ?

@@hawk6844 you need a legal team with the Secretary of State of Texas to help guide you in starting your business. Have an expert reach out to you and go from there. It’s $300 to start your business in Texas to be certified and additional fee to talk with a legal team.

I wonder who backs up this certificate since when you’re in cosmetology they don’t offer a license for that, because that’s something over the counter, that course is so ridiculous it’s way too expensive just to get a piece of paper

Hello, just started watching your videos. Have always wanted to add teeth whitening I am a cosmetologist work in a salon. I just haven’t been able to find out the legalities of this. I am in southern Ca. I have tried calling the dental board, the dental association the FDA, the attorney generals office. I just can’t seem to get any clear answers.
But my friends who do lashes charge $80 for teeth whitening. I feel like people would think I’m crazy for charging that high

Definitely suggest checking with your state dentistry board, but most states that I'm aware of allow client administered teeth whitening services without a dental license

Every state and country have different regulations in terms of teeth whitening. I would definitely research your state requirements.
