    Love this video. I have been in the dental field for 25 years. I'm currently in orthodontics. I wanted to ask you what do you do as far as chair's? Do you have a chair, what do you us at your home & when you travel to the patients?

    Do you apply the gel and gum barrier or vaseline? Because i hear that not in any state can you apply it, and it's a self administered process where patient does it.

    Hi !!
    are you a fan of putting gauze in the client’s mouth while doing the teeth whitening?
    I only see a few professionals doing this

    • @dentalelle

      I’ve tried but I find it moves around and gets in the way if too much saliva :)

    Do you always give 2 or more treatments when whitening? Some people do two to three in one sitting. Wiping product off in between. Is that the same? Also, do you use the "bibs"?

    • @dentalelle
      @dentalelle  3 года назад +2

      Depending on their appointment! If it’s a boost it may be 1-2 treatments/layers in 30-45 min. A full session is 3 treatments/layers in 60 min. One bib per patient :)

    So what is the % of HP in that kit? And also do you have to place the Carbonite always? Because theirs a course that i am intrested in purchasing that comes with everything you need in the kit and i am getting like 50-70 kits, but they don't come with the carbonite. Is this carbonite necessary should i ask

    Hello, been a dental assistant for over 10 years. Very interested in opening my own teeth whitening business. Is a certificate actually required? What teeth whitening solutions do you recommend me? Do you recommend the tube ones or i know there's also pens?

    • @cindydaniaruiz7588
      @cindydaniaruiz7588 3 года назад +2

      Also, which sterilizer do you use?

    • @dentalelle
      @dentalelle  3 года назад +1

      Good for you! As a dental assistant unfortunately you don't have full training on teeth whitening with a business component attached. I teach you business start up, bookkeeping, marketing, how to get your first clients and stay busy, etc. I like both the tubes and pens actually! The tubes have a greater % so better for professional whitening not just home use

    Hello, I love your channel, I am a RDH in the State of Ohio, I went to purchase the whitening gel, and I was wondering if it is legal to purchase the 44% professional gel to administer to patients without a dentist being present? I am interested in mobile whitening as an independent Hygienist.

    • @dentalelle
      @dentalelle  3 года назад

      Hi! It depends on your regulations and policies where you live. Ask your state dental hygiene association. For example, here in Canada we can with certain courses/skills passed.

    I wonder if I can apply Vaseline under the barrier to help it stay in place and not run so that I’m able to use it and not waste money

    • @dentalelle
      @dentalelle  2 года назад

      I haven’t tried that that’s a good question! You could always try and see if that makes a difference and if not then you know the Vaseline doesn’t work as well as you thought, but good question
