Quite fond of San Miguel- I used to sell it to Mexican restaurants in New Mexico as the beer company I worked for did not have any Mexican beers and it did all right. San Miguel also makes beer in Spain that is quite different in taste from the PI version.
Drank a couple of these wile in Navy USS Independence. Mediterranean 81_84. For some reason they were always warm. But we drank em anyway. Great Review Guys.
I had one of these in December straight from the Philippines. Smuggled in from a friends business trip. Bottle was different. White painted label. I gave this beer a 2 out 5.
You can buy San Miguel in the UK on draft in most pubs it is brewed and bottled in the UK by Carlsberg. Bottled and canned the packaging is different to the one shown in your video, it comes in brown bottles, 330ml in multipack boxes or 660ml individual bottles. Cans it comes in 330ml 6 packs, 440ml cans in 4 packs or 440ml cans in 10,12 or 18 pack boxes. Its price is around that of other euro beers and often found on offer in supermarkets. When I have been in the Baleric Islands, such as Lanzarote, its the most popular beer there along with the local Tropico beer. Its sold on tap and is around 1.50 euro for a large beer. Great beer to drink when its nice and hot outside at a restaurant or bar. Light tasting and inoffensive goes down well. This is the link to their UK website: www.sanmiguel.com/en/
I always hated the foreign beer hangovers, especially Asian brewed such as Tiger and San Miguel. I’m a Navy Veteran also and can relate. Cheers guys! 🍺🍺
@@frankaxiak1959 how dare you slander thai beers, they are delicious. plus the entire country drinks it, it would be dumb to poison that many people, not a good business model. I drank boatloads of Chang and felt fine.
Very good review together, and I have always enjoyed this one.
Thanks, Bucky, and I'm glad you like it.

That's interesting, and I would like to someday try the Spain-brewed version.

I don't think I would have enjoyed the warm ones.

Ah, yes. At one time we DID get those type bottles, here. 2 out of 5- well, it seems to have improved from when I initially tried it.
SAN Miguel is really popular here in the uk, I can get a 4 pack of 500ml cans for £4 at my local shop
I'm glad y'all can get it, because we barely can. Thanks for watching, adam blackburn. I appreciate it!
Good review gents. I'll try to look for this brew.
Thanks, Jean, but it may be difficult to find.

That was a good review guyz
Thanks, Jordy.
Tim K and Harald Baldr introduced me to San Miguel and Red Horse.
I noticed that the Red Horse website lists it at 6.7%, but my bottle (purchased in Florida) was clearly 8%. Thanks for watching, KV. I appreciate it!
Awesome video You should do a video on grolsch beer sometime.
Thanks! Ah! We have done Grolsch!
I just saw a 6 pack of cans for $3.99 at the 99 cent store
A great price! Thanks for watching, Ricky Metalhead. I appreciate it!

Thanks for watching, Mercury 904. I appreciate it!
formaldehyde in beer, is this true or a conspiracy?
I consider it a probable myth, but I didn't want to slow down the review, by interjecting that.
Not a myth, try Tiger beer and Singha brewed in the Far East. Wicked hangovers!

A pre pandemic review.
