Interesting to hear you talk of Folic Acid/Folate taken on its own causing neurological issues. We have folic acid in our flour in Australia by law and so finds its way into many products consumed constantly. There must of been a deficiency at one time here, much like iodine in salt. Would love a follow up video from you addressing this. How much you would need to consume for it to be an issue would be great to know.

Those so called doctors and experts not only haven't a clue , therefore can't advise Jack nothing but cause huge damage and are a danger to patients and society . I have a degree in nutritional biochemistry and have been following other nutritionists for decades and u never take iron supplements nor vit c because u can become ferritin toxic and vit c is a waste of money...plus vitamin A and vitamin E are clinically known to facilitate the metastasis of cancer cells in the body...in fact a study had to be cut short due to ethical problems because vitamin A and E proliferated the spread of lung cancer..the ones I approve of are magnesium...vit D...omega 3 and vit K2 (mk-7) version... The magnesium can be mag glycinate...mag threonate...mag taurine or even mag orotate

Can you take L-Methylfolate the natural form of vitamin B9 by itself. My understanding “folate acid” is the synthetic version Vitamin B9. I agree you should take any synthetic vitamins. They are never good and true to our body. You said folate acid should not be taken by itself- long term it will effect negatively on the brain, but will the natural “L-methyl folate” be ok long term on its on? Especially if you have the defective gene.

Having Thyroid issues I hunted high and low for a K2 supplement that is not Natto based, turns out there isn't one, so I studied best foods for K2.... Egg yolk, blue cheeses, Camembert.
We should never take Calcium supplements either as the body cannot utilise it, it needs to be from food, hello again cheese :) And Calcium binds to Oxalates too so a win win in the event of Kidney Stones (Lemon Juice great for dissolving them). Many years ago before I was clued up I had a severe Folate deficiency and a very low/normal B12. My B12 albeit in normal range was only just giving rise to at least a ''functional deficiency'', yet the damn GP just popped me onto Folate only. GP's have also prescribed mega high dose (20,000iu) of Vitamin D completely not informing me of the essential Calcium, K2 and Mg required. Idiots! Also Boron helps Mg be absorbed so that is a very good mineral to take.

No, you are wrong about vitamin D and K2. There's no reason to take them together.
The reason for this is that it isn't vitamin D itself which changes the bodys uptake of calcium.
That's made via 25((OH)D and 1,25(OH)D, which are produced from vitamin D in the liver, pancreas, resp. Kidneys.
    That takes abiut a week!
So, take those two vitamins whenever you like.
As a matter 9f fact, you can take vitamin D for a week before bothering with vitamin K2. That way you avoid lowering the calcium level in the blood serum. But this is only a problem if you were calcium deficient to begin with.
I didn't bother with listening to you further ideas!
