I like the way the end rings were made. I was taught to clip with cutters then try to square the ends of the ring with the flex drive and a sanding disk. Cutting with the saw and the ends are already square. Nice technique.
I believe that anyone who can transform a formless material into something useful or pleasant (especially for himself, but also for others), feels a great satisfaction.
I should've been a jeweler. I never find this simple gold chain link necklace design in the pawn shops when I want to. I got a pawn shop owner who sells me gold jewelry for scrap prices almost. It's so cool. He doesn't charge much because I've gotten to know him but he doesn't pay much for gold jewelry when you want to sell it back lol.

What a beautiful chain and your video is great. Can I please ask what the size of the mandrel is that was in the drill, and what was the measurements of the half round wire. Thankyou
I love this bracelet. What size wire are you using and what size mandrel if I may ask. I teach chain making and would love to add this to my classes. Beautiful work. Thanks.
How would you make a chain that looks kind of square? Do you use a square gauge? I'm always curious how some necklace chain links aren't round but square.
Instead of a wraping it around a flat metal jig onto the drill like he did to create his links....make a square jig and tightly wrap your metal around that, then cut down middle and follow the same process pretty much
I can not advise you. gold has gained fame, due to its particular characteristics, which make it particularly suitable for processing. I have not met other metals that have the same advantages.
Lots of great technic I have not ever seen a chain made up in such a way what was iit you boiled it in and would it work with copper wire. Useing your technique Thank you for shareing Thank you in advance
I would pay you to let me work with you and learn this skill. I'm dead serious about wanting to learn this. I need to start buying all the tools, but have no clue how to melt a whole ounce of gold though.... Your videos are inspirational. I'm nothing in this world without any skill. :(
It's what jewelers call 'pickle', which is a mild acid solution used to clean up the jewelry after soldering. Heating up the pickle causes a faster reaction and reduced cleaning time.
I do not remember exactly I think about 2 millimeters. The thickness of the thread must be proportionate to the size of the rings, I rely on the experience, and normally I do a test with a few rings before starting work.

thanks i'm glad it is useful

While it was only a 14k Two-tone bracelet I made, I made something super similar to this. These kinds of pieces are so satisfying to make
Player Before Z is there anything specific that's satisfying with this style of bracelet to make?

I have a question , i love rose gold the best , is it any different to work with than regular gold , or any less preshious ?
I can not advise you. gold has gained fame, due to its particular characteristics, which make it particularly suitable for processing. I have not met other metals that have the same advantages.
Beautyful obrigada 😍❤😍🌷

In basso. Grazie.

Hey I find you vids very entertaining and wow man love your ring it is sick could you send me a pic
Good Morning
I noticed that your gold solder melts easy. Could you give me some solder formulas ?? Thank you so much
You can find a wide range of alloys ready for use on the LEGORGROUP website
I would pay you to let me work with you and learn this skill.
I'm dead serious about wanting to learn this. I need to start buying all the tools, but have no clue how to melt a whole ounce of gold though....
Your videos are inspirational.
I'm nothing in this world without any skill. :(
I'll do a little video for how the gold alloy is made in the traditional way with copper and silver.
@@scaffoal thank you!!!
We need more teachers like you in the world.
I really love that piece! I have something very similar to this, except it has a togle bar closure. How much for that piece?
for all information you can contact info@scaffoal.it
Very beautiful! It would be helpful to have commentary and a step-by-step-process

Perfect
thank you!
i too wish to make my own jewelry. What is that machine called where you wind the metal into a tube?
it's an old hand drill
pretty good job i like that how much
thank you, for all information you can contact info@scaffoal.it
😉👍 nice work, what is it you put it into when you where boiling it after you finished the solder work to give it back the gold look ???
It's what jewelers call 'pickle', which is a mild acid solution used to clean up the jewelry after soldering. Heating up the pickle causes a faster reaction and reduced cleaning time.
the whole time you were making this i was thinking of the outside chain links of tire chains... ever seen a Tire Chain Bracelet
ok
Nice work
thank you
How much does the gold weigh before you melt it? Just curious.
for this work I don't use much more metal of the final object about ten percent more
Hi mate. What is the process called @10.44 and @12.14
Meisterwerk
Hello, very good work. What product do you use to boil the current in the pan?
it is a liquid to deoxidize gold
gracias
superbe bracelet
thanks
What gauge was the wire, and what length was needed for the links?
I do not remember exactly I think about 2 millimeters. The thickness of the thread must be proportionate to the size of the rings, I rely on the experience, and normally I do a test with a few rings before starting work.
saludos bonitos trabajo
gracias

How much does it cost to do it yourself?
What type of links are these, there really interesting.

Where do you purchase your precious metal and gemstones?

🌹
thanks
Beautiful! How do you get your solder to flow so perfectly every time? @hat is the equipment you're using to pull the wire/chain through the holes?
To make the welding run, I use a liquid deoxidizer, which you can find from goldsmiths dealers.
the tool I use you can see in this site www.pelusi.com/1/banco_a_trafila_4089517.htm
