I had a waterbed starting in the mid 70s, and it was the most comfortable thing, especially for a bad back.
It was so comfortable you didn't really ever have to roll over it change your position, because your weight was distributed so evenly there were no pressure points.
And much to the concern of sellers, unlike regular mattresses, waterbeds basically never wear out: you can't wear a depression or divot in a waterbed.
Then i got the "next generation", the "waveless" waterbed, that had baffles of some material inside that suppressed the movement of the water, so that if you moved it wouldn't disturb your partner.
And it was soft-sided for extra comfort, and it was sized so that you could use regular sheets.
In other words, this "new" waterbed has been around since the mid 80s, about 40 years.
One of the biggest problems was that they needed regular "burping", because the water released oxygen that accumulated, which caused an annoying "rustling" sound associated with waterbeds.
When you "burp" all the air bubbles out, they're actually completely silent.
But i gave it up at a certain point, and maybe it's time i looked into a new one

There was a really good joke that goes totally missed @28:16 when the woman says "As a whole (hole), I think, pockets tell us a lot about the human condition". RIM SHOT!

There was nothing like turning up the heating pad under a waterbed and then cranking the ac while under the comforter. Good times- good times!

One of the biggest breakthroughs in toilet paper production was figuring out, in the early 20th century, how to make it with no splinters.
Yes, people used to get splinters... _there._

I LOVED my full.motion water bed. I would still have it had I not lost everything in a fire in 2000.

I can't be the only one who thought Waterford was just a fancy brand and not an actual place, right? 😂 Mind blown!

The size of pockets on women's clothes is on my top 5 pet pive list. What really drives me crazy is the fake front pockets and the 5-inch back pockets on jeans. I need those 8-inch pockets to store my entire box of fudge for snacking and hiding it from my family here in Michigan! ❤

it reminds me of the episode of the television show Gidget and her surfboard gets stolen (with her name Gidget on it) but she takes it back and the lady puts a curses on her or something

Ironically, Dutch Brothers coffee has huge lines all over but in Provo, home of Brigham young BYU, the lines are realllly long. Utahns tend to have lots of enthusiasm for food, drinks, activities, movies, books….
