Hi , this video is ABSOLUTELY , the best ever to sew a curve hem . I am feeling to pull my hair out with the mess I just did. I looked at quite a few before I found this one . GREAT JOB , I really enjoyed it and most importantly understand it ....THANKS A MILLION.....From Denise. 👍👍👍👍
@@EasyPeasyCreativeIdeas I watched it again. I have no aptitude for sewing! 🤐 I have to learn from people who 'have' the skill. I would like to try my hand at making a backpack out of denim which has curved corners. That means I'll have to refer back to 'this' video. Thanks for the tutorial.
@@EasyPeasyCreativeIdeas I personally find this quite difficult and I make assorts of professionally finished designs, embroider my own patterns in, you name it! Everyone has that one thing they find tricky, I’ve avoided curved gems as I know many of us do, often it’s the nerves that stops us from trying and retrying! Be careful not to patronise your viewers 💃🏻❤️
@@AlhamdulillahiRabbalalameen I'm sorry if that sounded like patronizing, it wasn't my intention at all! I agree that some things may seem trickier to some than others and to be honest this was one of them for me too (along with quilting and sewing zippers). But once I took the time to practice sewing round shapes I realized it's actually easy because the whole secret is in the pressing, not the actual sewing. I practiced a little until I got the hang of it and now this is like second nature to me. I encourage everyone to try and fight their fears like I did (and still do), because many times, with patience and a little practice, we are able to conquer them!

OMG you make hemming a curve look so easy.
This is the best video I have seen to sew a curved hem. Thanks!
The easiest tutorial I’ve seen for this on RUclips. Thanks for saving my caftan 😭
Thanks so much! Happy to be of help :) xoxo

Thanks, Denise! I'm happy you found my tutorial useful and easy to follow!
Nice job (and nice nails!) I go crazy when I see people trying to sew without using their iron...it's just as important as the sewing machine!
Thanks, Sophie! I learned first hand what a major difference proper ironing makes in a sewing project!
God bless you sister.
Your video helped me a lot ...

Great job, thankyou so much for sharing your expertise!! 🌷🌷🌷
Thank you for this, i've a few curved blouse i cut coz it was too long and then got turned off by hemming it for a year. Shall get back to it now. 😊
Good luck with that hem! I'm sure it will turn out great!
@@EasyPeasyCreativeIdeasi used the first method, super easy! All 3 blouses hemmed and ready for wearing!!
Awesome! Thanks so much for letting me know! So happy my method worked out great for you! xoxo
Good explanation
Fantastic tutorial!
Thanks so much!
This is so well done. Does it work for thick fabric too? I’m trying to sew a round tablecloth with heavier tapestry style fabric.
beautiful. Many seamstresses do not give due importance to the use of the iron. use it makes a big difference
Yup! It's probably the most overlooked "trick" in sewing but makes such a huge difference. The proof is in this tutorial!
This was very helpful! Thank you!
Thanks, Nina! xoxo
Thank you so much!! Exactly what I was looking for. Now off to try out your technique and subscribe to your channel.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment! I'm happy I was able to help a little through my tutorial!
@@EasyPeasyCreativeIdeas you helped a lot. Thanks for this tutorial.
Excellent..thank you.
Thanks, Lorraine!
I did my curved hem the way you showed and it looks so professional and perfect..really pleased
@@lorrainedash5736 I'm really glad it worked out perfectly for you too! Thanks for letting me know! xoxo
Thank you !! I learnt to do this today 🙂
Beeeeeeeeuuuutifull 👍
That's not actually 'easy peasy'. That's professional level sewing.
That's not professional sewing! The "secret" to a neat curved hem is in the ironing which is a task even beginners could perform well!

It's actually pretty easy. I just made my first circle blouse for my sister and was wondering how to hem it and this video helped me learn

Cat’s got her tongue! 🐈
Oh God ! You make the video too long . Just show the main parts and skip the rest 😕
