It's painful making that last lap. Me and my dad build our Super Street from the ground up. My deployments became more frequent, and the economy didn't allow for him to keep our construction business, so we parked it. When he died, I couldn't afford to keep her. But we raced once, and we won.
I agree that the 602 would make a good engine for that class. I looked at the rules for Tazwell, 411 and Bullsgap and none of them allow the 602 for the Classic car class, I am not sure why you are upset with anyone?
Because, as I said in the video, we need more options. 305ci engines are becoming hard to find and more expensive to build. Hell all motors are but the 305 is such a niche motor that it only exists in this one class so there's no resale value at all. 350ci engines are a dime a dozen (compared to a built 305) and enormous aftermarket and resale due to its common use in multiple classes. So yeah, I was asked to try the motor out in the class instead of building a 305. And it turns out that it's pretty comparable but limiting due to lower redline and peak horsepower. So despite me not having a clear advantage whatsoever and still being a middle-pack car, they went out of their way to DQ me and have me removed from the track. Again, it's their choice. Hot Rod wants to run the class into the ground in order to maintain his illusion of power over people then he can have it. Rather than a protracted fight, I am moving on.

when you get rid of all the cars, there arent any cars left to put on a race. That class will no longer have a place to race.
Hot rode has killed that class....at every track.
