7:20 I would pay to see that back and forth between XSET and OPTIC for the most important round in the game. These teams are so evenly matched that it's so fun to watch.
VCT Stage 2 has undergone various changes in each region and has entered a new era. Although some teams such as PRX, DRX and Loud were able to become regional champions in Stage2. The last round on accent is pretty funny seeing that optic lost the same way xset did. Both got 9-3 cursed and lost the deciding game 11-13 on the attack.
Today, Cryocells beat yay for the first time.
even in their previous matchup Cryo diffed yay a lot. This time XSET didn't lose momentum and Zekken popped off.

imo because optic running 3 initiators comp they r so good at defense in ascend but terrible at attack. they barely win rounds in attack

My pick XSET got the best of them. It's going to be tough facing against PRX but hopefully they get the job done. GGs to both XSET and Optic Gaming. You win some, you lose some. Both of their weaknesses are blowing huge leads but XSET just proved they are the better team this series. Hope they can bring this energy in the future and I hope they bring the trophy home.

I think bcj is the x factor for XSET like how Victor is for Optic. Cryo and Zekken do their part like Yay and Marved but if the X factor is popping off they seem way better.

Tournament should be in the GSL style(where the winning teams of NA EMEA BR/LATAM APAC get seeding to playoffs.If thats the case in copenhagen, then XSET gets qualified for champs alongside optic
NA and EU are sending their best this time. Masters 2 will be the right tournament to prove which region is better.

Its a point based system and yes zeta can qual for champs through lcq
Zeta will miss out since there is only 1 slot for Japan
@@dandyND Zeta can qualify for champions either directly through circuit points as they are at 1st spot or through East Asia LCQ if they get to 2nd spot on circuit points (If Northeption shows really impressive performance in Masters 2)

The winning team of the upper final actually has a better advantage since they can see how the loser finals goes and prepare better, they lost, so xset was just better.

Yes the bonus of winning this and placing in a higher seed is good but from a strategic standpoint it is basically facing the international stage with less info on the other regions and their new play styles and strategies. Like the original comment said, "so they can evolve as the tournament continues" which in the long term can grant them a huge advantage as they know how to fight other teams more accurately by analyzing their play styles and strategies and countering them better. This is especially important when it will be against optic or XSET biggest contenders overall. But it is a risk because if an upset happens early on they can be put in difficult situations. Still props to XSET for being the better team in the grand finals but it doesn't mean they are or they will be the better team in the main tournament.
