Ellis island is a 10 minute walk from horseshoe. When I stayed there I went to Ellis island for their $10 steak and eggs breakfast which was tasty

Is the walk between the two safe? Not trying to imply anything. I’m just not familiar with the area and have watched videos saying don’t walk off of the main areas.

As a native Texan who has grown up with Whataburger... it is not shocking at all you guys like the Patty Melt the most. A lot of people (including myself) have it in the 1 or 2 spot. However, the next time you go back you should definitely try the Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger! It's my favorite and a lot of times in my region, it's seasonal... if you see this comment and go back and try it, definitely let me know what you think! 😆

Glad you tried Whataburger. Want to check it out. We have them in El Paso. They are still good but not as good as they used to taste. Company was based in Texas but they sold it a few years ago.
Last ate at that Sbarro's around 2007. Ended up with food poisoning so I haven't been back (have eaten at other Sbarro's, no problem).
I do love breakfast pizza. First ate it at the Rio Carnival World buffet. Haven't had it in a while.

Love this video with Dadcation's input - I am planning a visit to LV in April and taking my older Aunt. We are staying at the Bellagio and I think she would love the trying all the "cheap eats" at the Plant Hollywood places you mentioned. Question, is the walk doable from Bellagio to Plant Holiday for an older person?

I love Vegas and can't wait to go back. Get your water in your hotel bathroom and it's free. It may not be ice cold but I don't need it that cold. If it's hot out then you will want it cold. At Mandalay Bay if you are up that way is $4 a slice pizza, It was when I was there in 2021. They heat it up right when you order it and it's a big slice. It's at Slice of Vegas.

My cheap eats are Raising Canes, the BAE breakfast sandwich at Crack Shack, America Cafe at NY-NY and the crepe shop at NY-NY. The chicken nuggets at Shake Shack are good as well.

Short anwser: Ellis Island is always the right answer.
I worked for a water company the cheapest water is the best no hard water detected. However all the name brand waters did have traces of hard water the famous French water was the worst with the highest levels of hard water in it.

Was the Katsu Musubi part of the 2 for $5?. The display said top shelf only and you took it from the bottom shelf, and the price of the Spam was $2.75 and the Katsu was $4.29. Seems quite a large discount if you were to get 2 of the Katsu ($3.58) as opposed to the $0.50 discount if you got 2 of the Spam.

Corporations have bought the strip and everything is insanely expensive. These deals are good relative to other places in the strip, but still pretty much a rip-off.

Driving from California I can get 1.5 liter Fiji Water for $2.38 at Walmart. Smith's has good deals too. I keep their club card attached to my Vegas players cards!😂
Helpful hint: Smith's supermarkets are owned by Kroger. Look at the Yelp/Google reviews for the new Whataburger location on the Las Vegas stip, it's expensive and they haven't worked out the new restaurant kincks out yet like long waits, undercooked burgers, missing items from order, not putting enough fries in customer fry containers.

All fast food places are expensive now. McDonald's is no longer a burger place it's a Real Estate Company. It's franchisees make about $3.3 million +/- but 20% of that goes to McDonald's Corp. as fees. The franchisees also pay the food and labor costs which have been skyrocketing. California recently created a secondary minimum wage for fast food workers at $20/hr above the $16/hr state minimum wage. #Insanity

Walgreens and CVS sandwiches - that would be a fast grab and cheapest one. Everything what goes over 5 bucks is not cheap eats. As for drinks - I don't care for 4 years already.
