BluDrop5 I believe so. You can hear more than two background vocals including male voices but never see the Roots guys singing. I would guess that the Roots recorded the track first then he sang over it. I don’t see them on the same stage.

The Roots and Musiq need a joint project. All Philly Fire with Jill Scott, Mike Phillips and some duets with some local love can change the whole game! I love the space setup of the stage, too. Great to see the musicians interact and do some steps. Awesome!

Musiq definitely has amazing songs as far as the lyrical content. I just never understood why he wasn’t talked about enough. “Love” is definitely in my top 20 favorite songs of all time and Half Crazy is timeless. “Don’t Change” was a song that discussed unconditional love and addressed insecurities most women have. Man Musiq definitely is slept on.
