I live in Greenwood, i actually passed you coming up out of Rock Creek. My first thought when i saw it was, "Wow, looks like someone just plucked that out of a field."
Little did i know I'd find it on RUclips 2 weeks later 😂
That's amazing lol. In do remember getting some odd looks.
That era of Camaro was one of the most beautiful ever designed. While I don't like the way the rear end cargo area was handled, the overall look is amazing to this day. And it is so wonderful you took a car that was being junked and got it running. I hope someone gives it some TLC and fixes it to be a daily driver. It isn't worth much, but to have a car like that in any decent shape and operating condition is worth every penny.
I agree with you
Aside from the door it looks like it cleans up decent. I recently saved an 89 from a 20 year stretch in a field with the same damaged door. little effort and fired right up
kool, did you film it?
Nice old classic.
Great car and find , rare here i live, can't kill a chevy😍😎👌
Not a bad find at all! Pretty easy to fix up and I think body parts are easy to come by
I had an 86 with wiring problems. Wish I still had it. I'd love to see you get this one fixed up.
The fancy Camaro.....
Cool!
It actually runs and drives! wowza!
Neat save. That V8 is worth saving.
thanx, always a nice surprise to find one intact!
Im glad you saved it!
Got to agree that car runs dam good
Wow Camero Turned out nice
Very cool 😎 car I have a 1983 Z28 Camaro old school love them cars
Love that rig! Was my high school dream car
Thank you for your APPRECIATION to your subscribers Steve
Hey guys, just got put on to your channel from a mate in the States. Awesome video although it's an older one. Being a 70s child I loved the look of these Camaros , unfortunately living down under in New Zealand they're not that easy to come by and the ones that are are ...well expensive to say the least! great show though, look forward to more!!
Welcome aboard! Who's the mate who sent you?
@@ABANDONEDCARREVIVALS my mate Dave, he lives in Colorado. He's actually on the hunt for a 66 notchback mustang for me. My sister in laws was in the process of restoration of which I did a fair amount of work. It caught fire in the panel beaters and is a gonna 😕 luckily the new engine, tyranny and interior were out of the car so trying to find a rolling body with as little rust as possible. It's tough on this side of the world, just passed up on a 65 that was a P.O S. For $9.500!! NZD (about $4500 US)
keep itup lads. Running and driving are always good to watch.. All you slackers that watched and didn't like, subscibe and hit the bell notification.....Shame on you
landscaping and a revival.. all in a days pay. ! LOL
I heard a couple of Navy fighter pilots once talk about how one the F-14 Tomcats on their carrier was different than the rest; it never broke down, barely shook during high-G turns, and had a higher top speed than the rest. That it seemed to have rolled off the assembly line perfect in every way... it was "special", a "real hot rod". They fought with each other over who flew it next on the schedule. What's my point? I am convinced that some cars just roll of the assembly line different, like that Tomcat did.
I was in a bad spot once and had to accept a dumpy little 4cyl Chevy Malibu compact. I was prepared to hate it, but let me tell you... that thing was a unicorn. It was the best handling car I ever drove, smoked other cars off the line, outran highway patrol on one very desperate (and stupid) day in my life, and sipped gas. I never had that much fun owning a vehicle, I knew it was special. Seeing this Camaro effortlessly come back to life and hearing you say it's the nicest driving vehicle you own... leads me to believe that this thing just might be one of those unicorns that rolled off the line different, special, unique, better. Another unicorn.
Great story! Thanx for sharing! Sometimes they just defy all logic and adversity!
@@ABANDONEDCARREVIVALS I agree! I hope you get that Camaro completely cleaned up and in daily driver condition.
JUST SOME WHITE SPRAY PAINT IN SOME AREAS WOULD BE GOOD!!!!!
Sounds good holy crap lol
To me that's the best camaro the 3rd generation.... I used to have a 1988 iroc z-28 with the 305H.O. 5 speed with aftermarket rims and blackout taillight covers and black tinted windows and a pioneer CD player
Sounds hot
Teachers car🇺🇸👍
Miss my 86 Z28
Great video. It's not a question if there will be mouse turds and weeds, only how much 😊

Similar yes.. your thinking of Roadworthy Rescues. Great show!
👍
Can you find out what they want for that green ford probe gt
$500 Canadian was kinda the price tag on most things..
That looks like a Berlinetta
you are correct!
@@ABANDONEDCARREVIVALS the wheels were a give away, those are turbines
Y’all go lucky that the transmission was good
Nothing like a a bottle of magic juice to save the day!
Trying to think of the last time I saw a car with a bra on it. I'd love to find a 91 to 94 Lumina abandoned like that blue one! You guys should get that running and I'd have a parts car haha
I could give you the guys number..
@@ABANDONEDCARREVIVALS That would be fantastic
@@jeremyk3320 250-444-9557
Berlinetta models never came with a 5.7..
fact only 305 in v8
Is that a first gen lumina nex to it
Yea I think so.
You know it’s fast when it has a bra on the front 😆
All cars breakdown sooner r later no matter what car it is
You call that weed eater 'sir bogs alot' ? Jesus 😆
Yea she could use a tune up not gonna lie!
Is it even tagged or insured?
repairman licence plate yes.
Just curious. Did that car have the 700R4 tranny, eh?
that or a turbo 350....
u need to have a better mic and then u have a pretty good vid
It's definitely on my list of things to figure out!
@@ABANDONEDCARREVIVALS okay thats good
Just needs thousands of do😢to be a good project otherwise just a heap o shit!
Oh and do you have the title transferred or in your name so somebody can sue you when it fails and you cause a death?
I have a repairman licence plate so yes.
Don’t mean to hate I’m just very concerned because I’ve seen this happening and have seen it go badly! Someone died following you all that do these kid of saves!
They tried to do what you do and it killed an entire family!
Maybe post about the importance of safety also!
If it sat that many years how did it start up and run so easily? I smell a ringer.
Sometimes you just get lucky!
@@ABANDONEDCARREVIVALS I have a 86 camaro z28 305 tpi that has given me nothing but problems since I've had it. I love the car though so I continue to take the punishment. I keep hoping one day I'll get all the bugs worked out and she'll be a daily driver.
@@locotrucker46 thats frusterating! must have been built on a friday...
Back in the day the bras were a cool look but they act like sandpaper and destroy the paint.
Yeah should just left it on there lol
Fords will do the same not only chevys
ARE THE TBAR MODELS MORE MONEY?
Torsion bar?
