You're both incorrect. Though Leonard initially liked Penny for her looks (when he first saw her and didn't know her) and despite the fact that we all know Penny can be just as shallow they definitely have deeper feelings for each other. Penny didn't break up with Leonard due to his intelligence she broke up with him because he started TREATING her like she wasn't as smart. Lastly, in this instance she wasn't using crying as a trick, She was already upset and then suddenly got yelled at.
I’m not gonna say Penny didn’t deserve to get her ass chewed by Leonard, but she had what was coming. And honestly, he was totally in the right about her being hypocritical towards their relationship
I prefer Penny's relationship with Sheldon: they are so cute! Like siblings

she didn't break up with him because he's more intelligent than she is. when they were together she was insecure about him being more intelligent than her and sought advice from sheldon. sheldon couldn't keep a secret from leonard because he can't keep a secret from anyone so he told leonard about it. instead of being intelligent and rational about it he tried convincing her to re-attend college to feel smarter. so she broke up with him over him trying to force something on her.
It's kinda sad that she didn't bother to ask him about his leg even once. She always treated him like a doormat.
Bro you ever feel like not dealing with people and just sit watching videos or playing games trying to figure out what to do with your meaningless existence and then you get hella lonely at night but know in the morning that that feeling is going to go away and it'll just be an endless cycle?

This preceded the greatest scene in the entire series, namely Penny giving Sheldon Leonard Nimoy’s napkin for Christmas.
The title says "penny got drunk" and I'm like try being a little more specific because this didn't narrow it down at all this could've been literally any scene from the 12 seasons!!!
