@@Lex_Luthor777 That's because Superman has one power that allows him to lifted heavy objects without tearing them apart. telekinesis power when he lifts something without destroying it. Besides unlike Homelander who only relies on his laser vision, Superman has mastered his powers and knows exactly how fast and strong he has to be to lift a plane.

Amazing! This in and of itself could be a film where Superman and Homelander are pretty much battling over Brandon's soul. Homelander sees another version of himself he can mold. Superman sees a scared kid that is on the wrong path that needs to be corrected before it's too late and more people get hurt. Of course, I am of the mind that Superman can take out Homelander in one punch since Homelander never fights anyone on his level and Superman takes on people on his strength level and beyond on a regular basis.

Exactly. This could be a bit like the Skywalker saga, where Homelander (Anakin) was prophesized as the 'chosen one' to save earth but got corrupted and now is trying to corrupt Brandon (Luke) with Superman being the only one who can stop this.
Yea like when qui gon Jin was battling Darth maul and if qui gon won Anakin would have never been a sith and if darth maul won Anakin would have been Darth Vader
That could tie in to what we see at 1:48.
Imagine this: Superman has been struck down by Homelander, and doesn't have long. Brandon, who has been won over to Superman's side by this point, carries him somewhere and lays him down.
Looking down, Brandon sees the only person in the world who believes he could be something other than a force for death and destruction. But Brandon still isn't sure if he believes that himself.
Looking up, Superman sees a boy who wants to do good, and who finally can. That the one meant to destroy the world is now it's only hope. He realizes that his own part in this story is played out, and that he's played it well.
Brandon tells Superman that he was meant to take the world, and asks how he can fight what he was meant for.
Superman tells him that, no matter what anyone was meant for, for better or worse, they always have a choice.
Brandon says, through tears, that he wants to do good.
Superman smiles and says, "So do it."
With his final breath, he whispers, "Save the world."

That's where Superman comes in, Homelander thinks just because he's powerful means he can do whatever he wants. Brightburn thinks that he has to follow orders instead of doing what's right. Superman saves the world simply because he wants to
@@Nameless82284 Brightburn missed a great opportunity to borrow from the Anakin-Obi relationship (plus Carrie and Chronicle) and make Brandon Breyer a tragic figure. A movie with all three would've had Clark stepping in when Brandon was being bullied and unaware of his powers. The two form a Bond with Brandon being like a son.
Then Brandon meets Homelander who witnesses him suffering a particularly horrible form bullying outside school and steps in. Now Homelander is even more charismatic than Clark and slowly imparts his worldview onto Brandon, poisoning his mind in a more convincing way than the Alien ship did in Brightburn. Brandon gradually develops a more withdrawn extreme outlook on life and thus coincides with him discovering his powers, which Homelander subtlety encourages him to use against anyone who crosses him.
Then Clark notices Brandon's change in behaviour and tries to intervene, but it's too late. Clark fights Homelander, defeating him, however he is distraught, realising he failed to lead Brandon away from Homelander's corruptive influence...

Brandon comes to believe Clark's philosophy of "truth, justice and the American way" is 'soft' and that people who did him wrong deserved what was coming to them. Brandon will also have a valid point when he says Clark's a hypocrite after killing Zod.
All that would make for a more gripping story in a crossover where audiences are invested in the characters.

So imagine; DC Universe/‘The Boys’ Universe suddenly casing a ripple in the space time continuum ending up in the Brightburn Universe. Brandon Breyer is supposed to ‘Take the world’, but he’s also a kid that needs guidance. So we come to Superman and Homelander meeting for the first time. Superman wants to be an example to Brandon while Homelander lies to him so that he can take over the reality he’s currently in. Which leads to Superman and Homelander duking it out and the final boss is Brightburn. Superman might have to make a hard choice. (And of course The Justice League and The 7 have a short battle)

This would be good for a Brightburn Sequel. Superman and Homelander go to the Brightburn universe when both of them plan to harm his or Caitlyn pull Homelander over by mistake when trying to get help to deal with Brandon and both of them team up. Eventually she gets it right and is able to summon Superman (Kal-El) as well as Batman to help.

I can see Darkseid actually joining with superman to take down homelander and brightburn. In some incarnations he does respect superman to some extent. Or at least see him as the lesser of three evils, homelander and brightburn are loose cannons especially brightburn.
I would see it more as a "the only one allowed to kill you is me" type of deals but yeah I see your point

After Steppenwolf's defeat in the Snyder cut (Before Darkseid Arrives), the Flash (Ezra Miller) discovers that separating the motherboxes accidentally tore a hole in their dimension. Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck), and Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) are sent to check it out. Not wanting to attract any attention, they go by their human identities. When they learn of Homelander (Antony Starr) and Brightburn (Jackson A. Dunn) damaging that universe's earth, its up to the Man of Steel and the Bat of Gotham to put down the rogue supermen and show that Universe's Earth who true Heroes are.
That's how at least I'd see it happen.

I think for Superman, Brightburn would be his Jason Todd, a troubled kid that needs a real father figure. Now Brightburn will believe that Superman is own kind and he would want to know what to do. Superman will scold him for everything he did and then he would take him under his wing to teach him the ways to be a true hero. Telling him something like "We have these powers and we can take over the world, but just because we can, doesn't mean we should cause this isn't the right thing to do. You should know, I'm afraid to accidentally hurt someone. I don't want to do that because it's wrong. Kid, I'm far stronger than you and I could just end you right here, but I'm not going to do that because killing is right, even if it's by the side of good, murder is wrong." But if Brightburn will be anything like Jason Todd then maybe during a mission when Brightburn grows up, he goes to far during the mission as he nearly killed the enemy.
It's not really bright Burns fault actually he's being told this from his own race to do all this scolding him is not going to help him
