@@FlyingFun. I'm returning a cheap "built-in" controller rear hub motor kit, and have ordered a cheap external controller kit to replace it. My first plan of action will be to remove the outer casing/shell and take some pictures (that way I can count the poles, and the magnets, myself). Then, in a few weeks, I hope to order a VESC based controller. These VESCs can automatically determine an incredible number of parameters of the motor, by spinning it, while it takes some measurements of it's own. They (VESC based controlers) also offer a whole lot of flexibility, in terms of parameter settings, and use cases. The "Flipsky 71500" is one of a few I'm considering that also provides for regenerative braking.

how far can you reduce the maximum speed on the display? and does it also apply to the throttle grip? that I only turn it down to 6 km / h so that it becomes legal

Could you please guide me on what to do next please mate.
changes the power output .. i have 150A limit (72v system) .. if i put let's say 40 A there, I would get max 3kW power output .. if i put more than 150A, power surge may make the battery BMS to shut down for protection , cause the system will try to draw more current than it is i battery's capabilities 🙏🏻

@@jean-yvestremblay5576 it means 300A, for some reason, UKC1 shows Amperes in one decimal less . so 30 means 300A .. 15 means 150A...3 means 30 A ..and so on... not sure, if it's only combination of UKC1 with sabvoton, but that computer was originally built for smaller ebikes, so that could be the explanation .... I don't remember settings of poles, I kept that intact since it was built and I am not around the bike now to check it out. What motor do you have connected to the controller btw?
I just put this on my fat tire, and can't get the clock to save the settings. I always take my off battery to charge it. Have you run into this? Also, the voltage remaining and the % remaining don't seem to be in agreement, according to many of the charts out there. This seemed to show up when I upgraded to a 20ah battery from a 10ah. Any thoughts?

Poles in the motor if you set it to 32 99 km and 26-in wheels you've unlocked the speed apparently because mine goes now to 91 mph

it varies also with tire size .. i have 19" rims and tw-201 tires and my speed is always exactly with readings of speed radars near smaller towns .
