Old doesn’t mean used up!! All beings can still be a blessing. Love is what they want and need. I had a 36 year old who wasn’t ridden any more but was happy and well cared for. He was spry and happy. Always had love to give. I miss ole Charlie..
17 isn't really old age for a horse, if you care for it right, but many horses, and especially dressage horses, are now ridden in their 3 year auction, which means that they are trained under saddle to young for their bodies to handle. Which is why so many have early arthritis problems. Patience is key when it comes to long-term health..

I've seen everyone spell his name different), I love mules and to see someone who can see their worth, and have the ability to train them with how different they are to horses in personality. How naturally he works with all the horses with such talent and patience. He's worth his weight in gold and he seems like such a genuine person kind hearted person. All your workers are wonderful and amazing people.

It's SO good to see the transformations in this video. From the mud pits to clean dry footing in the intake corrals, to little Pilgrim's progress. The adoptions always make me smile. I dunno about your growing population of Kimberlys though... I think you might need a couple more still. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I live in SW British Columbia Canada so I get my horse fixes by watching your videos. Love what you do and I wish you all better weather. We just had over 2 months of rain in less than a week!! Major flooding and some farms are totally wiped out. Hopefully the weather gets better soon. Meantime, sending hugs to you all and blessings too. Cant wait for the next video! Much love from Canada
Hey Sandra, I live near you. I helped at a farm with evacuated animals at that time plus my friends animals as she was stuck in Chilliwack. Do you know of anyone doing this our way? I don't think there is. It's mainly dog and cat rescues. They are definitely great, just not large animals, especially horses.

Great video. Love that the little girl and even the donkey adoptor were leading on a loose lead and further down than at the chin - almost like Steve Young - so awesome. Would be great if you could get the adoptors to send in videos for a where are they now update on the adopted horses, ponies, and donkeys. That would be awesome!

It is uplifting to see the changed in your rescues. The donkey was truly a gift and the owner will be proud of him. Diamond was absolutely a beautiful horse and one could see how the Lady felt blessed to have her. Pilgrim is on the journey if his life and look forward to all his Updates.
Tawnee I SO hope you adopt Pilgrim also (as an addition to Cowboy and keep him safe with you forever) he is so adorable. Doc and your farrier have done an amazing job! I love all the work you do and donate every month to try and help. So excited about the vet barn. You are ALL incredible - bless you! I wish you were nearer so I could volunteer but you are about 2 hours away :( In the meantime, I have four out there who need some hugs :) Love the videos - well done!
