Thanks for the great video!! I find it interesting, just how similar my childhood & early racing is to many of these club members. I grew up in So Cal, and once I convinced my Dad to take me and my best friend to Irwindale Raceway in 1964, I was hooked. From 6 to 14 years old...it was Lions, Irwindale, OCIR, Pomona, Bakersfield, Ontario Motor Speedway. Moved to the central coast for high school, licensed at 16, and began racing at Santa Maria with my 66' Plymouth Valiant (273 V8). Still racing today....in my 70' Duster w/440 Wedge, in both Super Pro and the NHRA Heritage Series...and having a blast. ✌😎
