It’s great to see you do these every once and a while, you continue to upgrade continuously on the homemade aspect, from paper and pencil to digital printing.
Thank you for this! I really have wanted to make my own TCG for years, been working on it for over a decade now. I was just unsure on how to print them! This is exactly how I plan on doing it!
I like these types of videos. It reminds me of the 2nd DVD they would include with the movie you bought that had all the behind the scenes footage. That said, love the design of Stomposaurus. Team Palicium FTW!!!
Oh wow! This vid was uploaded an hour ago! Love the cards friend! You’ve inspired me to start sharing my own TCG with the world. I’ll share a link when I get some videos uploaded ❤️
THANK YOU for providing a step by step guide for making your own trading cards. I hope top create some 1960's style cards featuring my cartoon artwork. Extremely useful and helpful video!
I haven’t buy a pack yet and even though I want to life is rough I love your channel and I love your game. I haven’t write notes for a long I should start doing that right now 😂 I love your drawing, sir.
Got a question for you. I am 95 percent finished with my own card game. I've watched your video on copyright and trademarks but had one question. Did you need a seller's permit or license to sell on the gamecrafter? Or do you just report earnings on your taxes?
I’m trying to make a prototype of what I want my cards to look like, even got the sketches for the creatures down. I was doing the exact same thing you were doing at first, but I was planning to draw over the sketches on my photo editing software. Unfortunately, they just came out too pixelated and just made think my sketches, while not perfect, looked better on paper. Thanks for making the video, as it gave me an idea on how to make the cards properly.
Great video. I was wondering if you already have files available ready to be printed of the original pokemon cards which maybe you could share with us. Just wanna print and play at home with my brother.
Have you ever considered using Magic Set Editor for making cards? It's computer only, but you can run a lightweight setup that runs off of USB and run it wherever you go.
Yo Chaos, great video and thank you for all the help! I have one question though, could you please send me a link to where you buy your holographic foil from? This is because I cannot find any place to buy it.
www.amazon.co.uk/Holographic-Printable-Sticker-Quickly-Waterproof/dp/B08NCGND4B?th=1&psc=1 - I just get these off Amazon - although I’m in the Uk so you may have to find a different Amazon product in the US!
Hey can you help me I’m trying to make my own trading card game and can’t figure out how to design the monster can you make a video on how you created or the ideas to create the card monster
@@FuturesquashArchive4Concerts You can do the folding easier by softly sliding the exacto knife on the edge that connects both sides of the card and then folding it. Just make sure you don't apply too much pressure, otherwise you'd end up cutting the card.
11:03 Assuming that I want to print a lot of cards, I don't know if it is worth buying a printer. How many A4 papers can your printer print before it runs out of color ink?
It’s really hard to say as it depends on the printer and the amount of colour on each card - I probably wouldn’t recommend this method for mass production though, just for making some cards at home as a hobby
i deeply, profoundly apologize for implying that your game is not a masterpiece as it stands, but you really should get some more people for your team, as rather few people can wait two whole years for a brand new set (six months is okay though).
Easier to work with afterwords? Yes Easier to draw? Depends... I've personally tried drawing illustrations for my games digitally and could never make it look good and just struggled with it. So I do everything on paper as well. Except for pixel art xD
Yeah probably - but different techniques fit different people, I personally prefer the look of hand drawn art and I have more fun making the cards that way
What type of sun are you using?
Earth sun
@@ChaosGalaxyTCG Thanks! That really helped
I use earth as the sun,it’s pretty lightly from here in the moon

Chaos galaxy and dinosaurs! I don't know if anything could be better!
YEEEESSSSSS

Hi I'm new here can you make a vid on how to play the card game
Thank you for this! I really have wanted to make my own TCG for years, been working on it for over a decade now. I was just unsure on how to print them! This is exactly how I plan on doing it!
I've been watching your videos for 6 years, thanks for the content and memories - the videos (and trading cards) are great!
Thanks for supporting the game!!
@@ChaosGalaxyTCG , you left a white spot in between the right legs of the Stomposaurus.

I am working on making my boyfriend a pack of custom Pokemon cards and your video has been a very helpful thank you.
It's cool to see someone do something so old school. I enjoyed the video.

What paper do you use? That would be very helpful ;-; I need a good paper/material to make the cards thick. Keep up the great work!
A good paper to use is bristol
I really want to do something like this but I'm terrible at drawing
This was quite informative.

Nice choice of music at the start.
I like it but can you make the chaos galaxy tcg app
fantastic drawings
Did you just use printer paper? And can you sore how to make a relic card?
Do you use regular paper, or is it a specific type of material?
@@EpicTyler711 I use a 200gsm card stock - slightly thicker than regular printer paper but should run through a home printer just fine
Very helpful indeed.
This is so cool! What paper did you use for printing and did you have to use a stronger printer?
What type of paper is used?
What kind of card holders are those? Also what kind of paper stock do you use?
And here I am laminating my print outs after I make the fold, I may have to give this a try!
Love you channel!

Is there a video on how to make the template? That's the part I'm currently having trouble with.
I think you shouldve kept the white background
It looked like he stomped and broke the frame.
Would it not be more ideal to print the cards out landscape so you can fit more?
what paper are we printing on - any advice ?
What font did you use for the power word and the health word?
This Beautiful
where do i make the card templates? im on windows btw.
What paper do you use during printing?
idk if anyone will respond, but do you use like normal a4 paper or do you print with like afifferent material

How did you manage to resize the drawing without losing distortion ??
at the left feet is still a white spot ;-)
How did you make the standard card without the creature on it. Did you draw it and put it on the computer or make on the computer?
What type of cardstock do you use?
Yeah I’m terrible at folding, so I can’t do that last part. I’ll just double sided print them. One side cards, the other side card backs
But paper have to be perfectly positioned on both sides for it to work. This folding method is guaranted to work on all printers.
@@zoksss5323 there exist double sided printers. My printer can print double sides
@@FuturesquashArchive4Concerts thats neat, definetly better use of material, but those are way less commom than regular printers.
