Havertz has to play at the 9, end of story. The chance for Martinelli comes from Havertz going up top, the ball sticking to him and playing from there

The most important thing, in my opinion, was for Arsenal to not lose and that was accomplished. Also, no injuries, as well as seeing Saka subbed off with Sterling was joyful to see. That' said, our attack MUST improve in the absence of our injured captain and Martinelli Jesus, Saka, Sterling & Haverts MUST step up!

We played very bad going forward. Jusus was missing every ball. Saka and Martinelli were off. Partey to slow in midfield. He looks scary to go on duels. Others were ok. Arteta is more focused on defending then creating chances. Have to change
I think without odegaard it’s gonna be really hard to create chances but maybe he should trust Ethan to start.

Saka didn’t get the ball. He had to take a free kick, which was our second-best chance. Martinelli should have at least got the ball on target, and people would expect a goal from that position, especially. It’s obvious that Arteta told Saka to take it easy, especially after he had to come off early in the last game due to a bad cramp. Even now, taking Saka off early was to preserve him for the City game. With Odegaard gone, Saka is going to have to go past his limit when it comes to getting the ball and attacking.

We were welll known for being poor in defence and that hindered us for so long.
Now (this match only so far) our defence is perfect, but going forwards were lacking which is something we have never really struggled with lol
Honestly tho, i think martinelli has to sit out for a couple games and let trossard or sterling have a chance, because the left side was poor last night, kayo was also strangely quiet on his side also and then as usual, Jesus just had no options.
I think both sides cared mainly about breaching of defence and so lack going forwards.

Arsenal need to be better if they are going to compete against Man City on the weekend. I think we need to train Nwaneri as an Odegarrd replacement. He already has a ball-carrying ability that is similar, we need to make him a passing master.

Today’s game against Atalanta was probably one of the most boring Arsenal have played so far. While the defense was solid, the attack was a disaster. I’m not sure how Arteta plans to fix the offensive side so the team can start scoring more goals. Where’s the Arsenal from two seasons ago, scoring more than two goals per game? This season’s team seems too laid back and lacking that punch to get goals. Again, the defense is good, which is important, but if we’re not scoring, criticism from the fans will start to roll in.
Atalanta is a solid team, but they’re not better than Arsenal. Yet, we gave them too many chances, and now they can walk away feeling good about their performance, which isn’t acceptable. Yes, we don’t want to concede, but we also need to focus on finding the back of the net.
Saka’s performance was off today, likely due to his injury from last weekend, but I believe he’ll recover in time for the next game against Man City. It’s also clear the team misses Martin Ødegaard, and Rice didn’t have the best game either. Arteta has some work to do to make the necessary changes.
Shoutout to Raya for saving the day, and Calafiori and Trossard for making some impact in the second half. With a big game against mighty Man City coming up, we’ll need all the luck and the best performance possible. It won’t be easy, but I think we can scramble for a draw, which would be a good result for Arsenal. Good luck to the team!
They can walk away feeling good but they aren’t walking away with 3 points that they deserved. At the end of the day 1 point away from home in a game they played poorly in is a good result. That’s what wins u championships in the end. Don’t be too harsh. Ofc, if arsenal play that way against my inter it can be a very long day. But imo this shows that arsenal can really challenge the prem, and I hope they do win it

If Arteta plan is to completely neutralise the opposition in every away game and don't get countered at all ok but our attack is suffering because we don't have 4 players up front that can create magic up front on their own also Rice can't pass the ball forward when on the pressure he needs to much touches same as Partey it's no wonder we created so little . Arteta also forbid shooting as well,our players have to walk in the goal.We also had regressed Jesus, Martinelli and Saka up front,Saka became a defensive winger who can keep the ball but lost his pace and dribling ability, Martinelli lost everything but pace,Jesus is a shell of man we bought. If Arteta wants to play like Mourinho's Chelsea he has to get some great wingers and Drogba striker also two beasts in the middle like Essien and Kante.

Good in defence, sloppy in attack. That's the best summary of Arsenal now, and when they probably don't win the league. If the attack can't score, it weighs the team down, struggling to win or draw. The attack of Martinelli, Saka, and Harvetz is second or third best to Man city, Lpool and even West Ham.
Tired of hearing martinelli had a great chance.... raya is the best signing.
We defend outstandingly well but we are lacking enough creativity upfront to kill off the games.
