I'm so grateful I've found your channel. Please could you pray for me, I have 4 children and I so desperately want and need to lose weight, like you for my relationship with God, being there for my kids, my husband etc... but I never seem to achieve where I need to be. I feel like a failure and I get guilt all the time, I've convinced myself I can never do it having had so many unsuccessful attempts. Please could you pray for me, that I can achieve this breakthrough with my health and beat it once and for all. I really need Jesus's help but even though I pray for help it never happens long term. I give in and get lazy. I'm blessed to find your channel, and I'm going to start today as I mean to go on 🙏
You will be in my prayers. I am on a weight loss journey myself and even though it is not easy it is very attainable. Omad is working for me so far. Just take it one day at a time and don’t bit yourself up if even you have slip ups. Focus on renewing your mindset one day at a time and it will compound over time. God bless and strengthen you.
really works. im 6’1 and was 280 lbs, only eat one meal a day and took around 10k-15k steps a day and i’m now 215 lbs in under a year. i still have my cheat days tho lol
Congrats! Been omad since Aug and down 33lbs. Seems to work best at age 51 for me. At some point I will tighten up the diet and starting to do some weights as I am slimmer but squishy!
I am going to look for your books! One question: because of a bum knee I can't walk for exercise very much. If I didn't exercise would I still lose following your other ways of losing weight?
Thank you! I’ve been watching your videos (1st one about James Caldwell) and they have been inspiring to me to start my journey. I’ve been doing IF on and off, but this time I’m doing a 20/4 fasting window and it is working out great. (Feel great!!) I’m aiming for 23/1 window in a couple of weeks. 👌🏼
What I do is eat what I want and add what I need so like I will eat veggies protein and a small meal of what I love I do the same with dessert may eat a dessert with a protein shake
A new study of over 20,000 adults found that those who followed an 8-hour time-restricted eating schedule, a type of intermittent fasting, had a 91% higher risk of death from cardiovascular disease. This test was done from 2003 to 2018.
Confound: people that go on intermittent fasting diets are usually obese at the start and obesity is the primary cause of heart disease. It is not intermittent fasting causing it but obesity.
That’s not true. You can pack away the same amount of calories in one meal as you would have eaten in an entire day if you eat high calorie foods. I think you’re on the wrong path

You look GREAT!! You are really such a great encouragement.
Good for you . Carry on and the best to you in 2024 👍❤
Thank you for all of your tips, it helps so much!
You are so welcome!
Hello from another intermittent fasting channel ! I’m just starting my journey 😄 (the second time) after having a baby
Congratulations on your weight loss.
I am going to look for your books! One question: because of a bum knee I can't walk for exercise very much. If I didn't exercise would I still lose following your other ways of losing weight?

Drop whatever you are doing and go read the book Womans’s weight loss secrets: the unspoken truth, its absolutely life changing, trust me on this
@AnnaSmith-b9p WHY ARE YOU AND A GROUP OF FAKE ACCOUNTS posting the same ridiculous comment about an overpriced book. STOP
??
I’ve been trying to do this for 5 years and I’m still 60 pounds overweight. I can eat a ton of calories in one meal and still be hungry
This is the lowest weight I have been in years so proud of my journey and myself
Are you still doing OMAD in maintenance?
Hey Kayla! Would you recommend flat white coffee during a fast?
How long did you start to lose weight
Great info
My problem is I Can pack in 2,000 or more calories in 4 hours lol
Try an hour
What I do is eat what I want and add what I need so like I will eat veggies protein and a small meal of what I love I do the same with dessert may eat a dessert with a protein shake
I hear you. I promise fasting will help this.
Same here. I have to portion control and go easy on carbs
No such thing as a "cheat day". It's just a day where you decided not to restrict yourself so much.
😐😐
How much half and half do you have in your coffee?
6 miles a day, that is great!!
What if i cant walk 6 miles a day
Do what you can commit to consistently
I love the icons. Are you by any chance an Orthodox Christian?
Yes, we are Orthodox Christians in the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America. - J.R.
@@SixMilesToSupperThat’s cool. We are Confessional Lutheran. Thank you for your videos!
You look great!!! xoxox
Away, I lost 65 pounds in 4 months
With only one meal a day it doesn't seem like you would get enough of the vegetables and protein you need. You can only eat so much at one meal.
Having less than perfect nutrition is still healthier than being obese.
You don't need vegetables but yeah our ancestors fasted a lot
Excatly no need for veggies..its toxic..so skip that..eat protein and fat..
Black coffee..salt and fast...simple as that
Here is a new video about getting enough protein. ruclips.net/video/olwKh6Db-PM/видео.html - J.R.

Concerning, but so far it's just a poster abstract. I'll keep an eye out for the study when it's published.
Confound: people that go on intermittent fasting diets are usually obese at the start and obesity is the primary cause of heart disease. It is not intermittent fasting causing it but obesity.
That study was self reported eating data for like two days.
Well don’t intermittent fast. At least you won’t have to deal with being ogled by the opposite sex.
Correlation is not causation.
You lost because IF in any amount reduces overall calories ! You reduced your calories ! It’s not rocket science!
You ok Wendy? Lol You sound annoyed...and all she's doing is trying to help her audience🤔
@@taboakos😂
lol no. You gain weight because of insulin. Fasting reduces insulin thats why you lose weight. You can’t ignore hormones and genetics.
Yeah no shit. But OMAD is a sustainable method of caloric restriction for some.
That’s not true. You can pack away the same amount of calories in one meal as you would have eaten in an entire day if you eat high calorie foods. I think you’re on the wrong path
wow, fasting 6 days a week? Be careful fasting too much
