- Jurassic world evolution 2 is mere weeks away but there’s still a lot we don’t know about the game. One of which is what dinosaurs can pack hunt.

I really hope that deinonychus and raptor packs have fights with each other for territory not to kill

I think velociraptors hunting a brachi would make them seem dumb if anything as to them it would just be a suicide mission and with how they are trying to make the dinosaurs feel like actual animals I don’t think they will attack anything that big it would be like wolf dogs attacking an elephant on but the size difference is even bigger
honestly them hunting something as large as parasaurolophus without numerous casualties is pretty ridiculous, like lions taking on an adult rhino. Its pretty much why the whole idea of raptors pack hunting isnt well accepted nowadays. I can definitely see the carnosaurs in the game taking on sauropods either exhausting them like is shown in Walking With Dinosaurs, or flesh grazing like in Planet Dinosaur. I really want gigas to do the latter

I sure hope that more then just the velociraptor can pack hunt. It’d be a huge missed opportunity if it is that way. I almost want to see a compy pack hunt a goat. 😃😃😃

i think theyll probably make it so the only ones that can pack hunt are the ones with palaeontological basis, are commonly depicted doing it or do in the movies. Like imagine compies hunting a goat in a gang, thatd be sick if a bit unrealistic. The main I want to see is a gang of giga flesh graze a dreadnoughtus, would be metal as hell. And that one has a bit more basis in the fossil record as multiple individuals probably would follow the herd of sauropods and snack on them. Raptors will obviously, troodon might because theyre depicted as doing it despite no evidence. Same goes for allosaurus, which probably can pack hunt large sauropods just cos Walking With Dinosaurs, and tyrannosaurs can probably too to varying extents because of the slightly more credible evidence for that. Simply put theres more evidence for tyrannosaurs pack hunting than raptors, but its still pretty dubious, so if raptors can pack hunt albertosaurus at least definitely should. I definitely want it to be more mob like and less strategic, as the former is a lot more likely. So yeah I think all the raptors and troodon will, allos probably will, dilos wont, same goes for other early theropods like herrerasaurus. I really hope gigas do and I can definitely see it happening, and albertosaurus definitely should.

It’s not necessarily a bad thing, dislikes count as engagement which actually helps out the video, as a matter of fact I used to dislike my own videos to get them pushed out more and actually managed to get my first 50 subscribers just by doing that!
