24:51 Something crazy people, I made the dumbest deal of that night. I took my uncle, brother and his wife, and 2 of my nephews to this game. As you can see, the Phillies was up by 4 in the 7th inning. My nephews were crying saying that the want to go get some sleep because they just got off the flight from Orlando. I was mad at that because me and my uncle just got off a flight from Honolulu that same day and we was tired as well, but we wanted to watch the entire game. So, when Bryce Harper came up to bat, I made a deal with them. If Bryce hits a homerun this at bat, we can go home. Know and behold, this happen 24:53!! On the first pitch no less. I couldn't believe I called that homer. Well, I'm a man of my word. We left the game after he went around the bases.
There were oddly a lot of great moments in a season that didn't end they way Phils fans would have liked. 6:11 takes the cake for sure though due to the extreme odds-defying moment perfectly matched up with the underdog story. It was beautiful. Williams did not hit another big league home run until July 3, 2022 and his career total still stands at 2 at the time of this post.
The Phillies are (in my opinion) big if not huge favorites to win the NL East in '22. And this coming from a Yankees fan too (don't let my profile picture fool you LOL).
Man, how did we not go 19-0 against the Nats with that pen last year? Seems like we were poor Brad Hand's kryptonite last year, lol. Guess he figured if he can't beat us, join us, haha.
I am a huge Phil’s fan so I am hyped Schwarber From My dads fav team the Red Sox is on the Phil’s. But scherzer is gonna be hard and Freeman is gone from Atlanta
I can't wait for the season to start, This line up is going to mash. 1. Schwarber 2. Segura 3. Harper 4. Castellanos 5. Realmuto 6. Hoskins 7. DiDi / Stott 8. Vierling/Herrera/Moniak 9. Moniak/Herrera/Vierling
As frustrating as the offense was at times (well.. a lot), if they had an AVERAGE bullpen, they make the postseason. I’m hanging my hat on that for 2022 that hopefully that changes.
Heyyy we let Neris leave because we’re idiots Also to think there are legit people who want to get rid of Hoskins because streaky. I hate Philly fans sometimes
I mean, Knebel and Hand are two monsters when they're going. But had we retained Hector, I would've said this is one of the best pens they'd constructed in a long time. Still should be a solid pen, though, as long as our homegrown guys (Falter, Brogdon, Dominguez, and Romero when he returns) progress like they should.
@@GatsbyCioffi Romero was terrible last year, falter is honestly a dice roll wether he succeeds as is dominguez, this pen is extremely similar to last years, a bunch of guys who “should work out” and guys that are. Really good when they’re on. This team only wins 85 games this year. All they did with schwarber is replaced McCutchen with a guy who’s a better hitter but worse defender (unless you want him to dh instead of Alec Bohm) and you’re relying on Bohm Gregorious a platoon in center and a lack of any serious injuries whatsoever because of the awful depth of this team, in order to make the playoffs. I’m sorry I just don’t see it.
babe wake up new Nothing if not Inconsistent video just dropped
Not the outcome we wanted but still a very fun and memorable season. Can’t wait for March
Yeah I agree, the record is just a bonus
Understatement
Here in July they are doing great 3rd place In National league behind braves and Mets go Phil’s
Seriously going to miss cutch playing rock, paper, scissors when rounding 3rd. Classy and fun celebration imo
The luke Williams moment still gives me goosebumps. When I watched it live I must have rewound my TV at least 4 times. Moment of the year last year.
I was at that game at was awesome

My god that Mets series… at the time I was ready to run through a brick wall for this team! Can’t wait till they get back into the playoffs
By far the high point of the season
have watched this 15 times in the last week. thought 2021 was the year. 2022 is the year
That game against the Nats where they came back from 7-0 to win on a walk off GS... holy fuck....
And in a shortened game too
We gonna be better next year - LETS GOO!!! Castellanos and Schwarber are Phillies 😤

3:32 now that i watch this i just realised rhys just hit the same homerun into big mac land like yesterday wtf
Can't wait for the season to start , this line up is going to mash
have watched this 100 more times
also, I’d love to see a all blown saves of the phillies 2021 season if possible!
I think it would be too long
@@johnnywaffles not as long as 2020 haha
You would be here all day long
If they win half of those blown saves theyd have 100 wins lol. Hoping for better this year

The Phillies are a awesome team and played very good back then
25:23 is my favorite clip, the whole game was insane
Un millón de abrazos cada uno
Love it!
Man I remember watching the Luke Williams walk-off dinger. What a moment
We were 1 out away from losing too
I was at that game. Probably the last person I expected to be the hero
@@mattscarantino243 Legit brought a tear to my eye when he embraced his family on the field after. What baseball is all about.
❤️ you Phil nation
I was there with the Alvarado and Smith incident
Such a fun year, despite the team’s record.
Best season we've had in 10 years!
Yes but I want to say the best atmosphere was 2019 when Bryce came everyone was so hype and it was a great season
I can't wait for the season to start, This line up is going to mash.

Gonna miss Brad miller… super good hitter.
The most exciting bad team in baseball
Well well well...
Anyone think the phillies got a chance in 2022? i’d love to hear opinions
Hell No. But fuckit, Imma root for them anyways. Because fuck everyone else, We're the team to beat.
