All of the examples I've seen so far use the syntax delete[] arr_name; when deleting a dynamically allocated array. In 3:15 however, you dropped the curly brackets. Does it do the same thing without the curly brackets or are there differences? Amazing video by the way. Thanks a lot.
Maybe put the new in these things: " " I don't know how they are called in english, but this would make it more understandable. I just thought: C++ new Explained? New C++ tutorial series or what?
Yeah man, from experience, i feel like if you understand this one first, you'll understand other languages quickly. I've messed around python and java and you get to see Keywords such as "int" , python is easier and yet powerful, it depends on what you want to learn, if your goal is to master many, don't start with python because C++ seems more technical and harder to understand if your focus is only on python. It's really up to you and your needs, youll get better job opportunities if you learn as many as you can , start with C++ to understand other languages a little bit, every language is different, but you don't want to go to the next language without any recent good experience.
I feel like Caleb is adorable 🥰 but he is also addicting my goodness I am a JavaScript/TypesScript lover and I am learning C/C++ just for (*U) (the Dereferenced User)
Style violation... Visual assist... There is the whole problem with programming today... Dog wagging the tail... Dreadful. By the way, new is a keyword to allocate memory on the heap... It's best to use smart pointers now also. No need for new really these days.
Guy's I just finished a 2 year IT degree and I'm currently working on my A+ certification. I'm having the hardest time landing my first computer job. Will the certifications help or should I start on a bachelor's? I'm thinking about getting my SQL Oracle cert after getting my A+ but I'm just really discouraged from all the jobs I've applied for and NOTHING.
I appreciate that you don't try to rush through every concept like cherno but take your time and explain them as clearly as possible! Thank you!!
This is the first pointer video that actually explains New in the best way possible. Thank you so much 😭
Thanks for these C++ videos. I just started getting into the language and these help learn the syntax and idiosyncrasies.
Thanks big bro!
I was waiting for C++ intermediate series so long!!!
*I thought C++ released a new version, when I saw the title ._.*
same man!! I thought this video was about the new c++20
Great video, Caleb! I give you a C++ for your grade.
Brother you did a beautiful job in the making of this video, this was very helpful for me may Allah give you more.
Thank you for updated c++ course
Thank you for a clear and concise blurb on pointers. Very easy to follow!
5:00 ah the -> is revealed, thank you
Im looking forward for more c++

Amazing video by the way. Thanks a lot.
I don’t get the example at the end, since new is never used in it
Very well explained. Thanks
Awesome video, deserves more views

IS C++ good to learn as a first programing language?
I think C++ is better than other options.
