My son bought this pinball machine. Been having a lot of fun learning about how it works. It's dated 1979. Cleaned up nice. Works great. Big and wide and heavy. Not bad for 42yrs. Old.
yup....55 yrs old now...14 or so when it came out...what a machine...so much fun...dumped quarter after quarter into this machine....sooo good...ironic, the machine next to it, centaur, was maybe my favourite table of all time... this was a close 2nd.
Here's interesting fact: The game's end-game match sequence is broken due to fact that there are *no* 10-point switch anywhere on the machine. Match sequence goes from 00 to 90, however the score ends with either 00 or 50 at the end of the game. The manual mentions that unlit thumper bumpers are worth 10 points. There's tiny issue, though: All bumpers are *lit*. Also, on far view, the crazy long delay between ball 2 and ball 3 is caused by the amount of scoring events, which were queued up. The game could continue as soon as the queue empties up. This can be done in 2 ways: By tilting the game, or by patiently waiting.

This table looks and sounds so good! A nice table to feature in a gameroom on looks alone.
