@ Emily Porter But they're ladukas (I don't think I spelt it right) shoes, which means their soft soled having heels. The inside is much softer than other heels

I've danced in heels before, and I was twelve. It really isn't that bad. Character shoes should be part of a comprehensive education for any dancer, expecially for those wanting to get into Broadway, or showbiz.

The mums need to get a grip. If they want there daughters to be professional dancer they're gonna have to wear character shoes some day. Might as well get the training with them early. And when that mum said too high, are you kidding there were like one inch and they were proper dance shoes so they wouldn't have been dangerous for the girls to wear

You really need to practice and train to do it though giving girls,a few days or hours to dance in heels without the proper training in dangerous.
Fun fact:* Cindy actually had high heel like shoes on during the show and the heel broke right before they started to film so Gia had to grab her a spare pair of flip flops she had in her bag bc cindy understanbly did not want to go barefoot in tv. Don’t believe me look it up.
I was around that’s the last thing I will say besides they were innocent of that and they are still wonderful people today.

I honestly think that
a) those heels weren’t that high & they totally could’ve just put on band aids and dealt with it although
1) i would understand them being nervous bc they were dancing in heels for the first time just not that upset over heels in general
b) i agree with Cindy here she was polite and calm and well spoken. doing something for a kid three days a week for three hours each is not the same as mothering 24/7

I get that teaching dance isn’t giving birth. However, Abby is a dance teacher and sees those kids for hours at a time every day of the week from the age of 3 if not younger, she has supported and nurtured many children from childhood to career so to some she is like a third of second parent and to her they are her children 🤷🏼♀️
You’re calling those high heels!? You should see the heels I have to dance in. They’re about twice the height of those heels!! I however never had to worry about blisters because I wear tights to dance.
