Psalm 150 seems to make it clear that He doesn't get hung up on the instrumentation as much as some people do. He just wants us to bring our hearts and express our adoration. Though amplifiers aren't specifically mentioned, praising him with a loud sound is clearly a good thing.

My son wrote, played, sang and recorded a rock song as a gift for me...about me, honoring me as his hero because of my loving support, believing in him. Should I have told him go back and write a gospel-style melody...or with great joy, receive it? SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT Starts in the heart.
