- In the past, I've described the Willow Grove branch of Tilt (there called Tilted 10) as a Bizarro-realm Round1. This still feels apt when visiting the Tilt Studio location at the Valley Mall in Hagerstown, MD. There's a lot of redemption games, but also a decent mix of experiential video game attractions -- most notably a full 6 player setup for Sega's Indy 500, with the full motion race cars and all -- alongside a mix of fighting games, retro classics, a small selection of rhythm games (not one but TWO DDR Extreme cabs back to back!), and a wall with a mix of modern and old school pinball machines. Oh yeah, and a food service counter, a mini golf course, and what the hell, an amusement park ride or two just for the heck of it all. This place is wild, but honestly, like many of these major chain arcades, the maintenance is constantly lacking. Several machines were either in poor shape or just outright not working, and if we ran into any issues with them, they'd just offer to scan us in on another machine instead of refunding credits (and would then leave the machine on for other people to discover that it's eating credits). It's a shame, because this selection is really good otherwise, but the poor maintenance and management at this particular location doesn't really make me want to come back again in the future.

I had no idea Tilt arcades still existed. I am pleasantly surprised! 👍
1:03 My favorite games are there! (Sega Super GT and Indy 500)
I used to play those games all the time in the arcades as a kid. Both of these games are superbly underrated and don't get talked about that much.
Okay, now this is a well balanced arcade. A little bit of modern with a dash of old school. I was really impressed with fighting game selection (Capcom vs. SNK 1 and 2, Guilty Gear X2, Virtua Fighter 3, etc.) as well as everything else.
2:30 - It's great see the Super Deluxe Indy 500 machine still exists! Many have been scrapped or retired. So glad this Tilt still has a working machine. Although this version at Tilt is only 6 players. I believe the full version is 8 players.
I've actually been to that arcade. In my opinion, this is one of the largest arcades in Maryland. Has really cool games like Mini Bowling, Pinball machines, and retro styled arcade games like Pac-Man
Need a Tilt Studio at King of Prussia Mall. Occupy the vacant Lord and Taylor on both floors.
Haven't seen that version of Rampart before. Only one I know is the three trackball cabinet. I know how difficult it is to play that game with joysticks / dpads from the Super Nintendo days.
5:07 - Lots of empty space between those pinball machines and unused electrical sockets. Hopefully more pinball machines will be coming soon (and well maintained!) for this location.
Sadly, not the case. Instead, it's more like they got rid of a bunch of machines that were previously there. Might be because they opened a few other locations recently and shipped them off, or might just be because they were out of order and don't wanna bother fixing them.
5:45 - What a strange place to put a Street Fighter machine. All that open space, and they shove it into a tiny space behind the garbage can. Wtf??? No seats and barely 1 person can fit let alone 2 people.
Seems like Tilt arcades nowadays always have Bubble Bobble music playing in the background. Is there a claw machine that plays that music or something?
Yep, at the one nearest to me it's the Animal Story claw machine that's playing it on loop.
Would of been better if they actually had the original Bubble Bobble arcade cab.
another video, another nascar arcade!
There is WAY too much EMPTY space. What a waste! They need to fill it up with more machines! It's so empty.
