Thanks Erin for sharing so honestly about your family. I have 2 sons with autism. And people always tells me, that they’re glad they don’t have that, because they wouldn’t cope with it! But did any of us wish for it? I love my kids of course. But I feel the stress to make them work in the social life, in a way they actually are not made for. You make me feel less lonely. ❤
your comment hits home for me, my son is also on the spectrum. All parents worry of course, but the worrying we have for our ASD loves is really hard. I am so, so grateful to have found this channel - like you, it makes me feel less lonely. ❤
You guys make me feel less lonely. Being a special needs parent is hard. Harder then I think anyone really gets. Most only see small snip it’s of what is happening. The fight we fight for them the voice we have for them. I say it’s not about making them conform to the rest of us, it’s about us reconnecting that it’s our privilege to be welcomed into their world.
Its so funny to See you counting the hours 😂 I am German and I have the exact opposite Problem😅 where i have to add 12 to pm-times because I cant understand the time otherwise😂
