VINCE RUSSO talks about the real reasons why TEST was buried in WWE ruclips.net/video/yw_508SVod0/видео.html
Has this channel ever done a positive video about AEW?
@@roberdink maybe whenever AEW actually does something positive?
@@tededwards5709 AEW has working relationships with Impact, New Japan, and AAA. That's very positive!

Konnan seems like he's on another level after his brush with mortality. I'm so glad he is here with us for a while longer. Keep this energy, Konnan!

Tony Khan made such a horrible mistake. He was completely disrespectful and the timing could not have been worse. For all we know, Konnan could have passed away and Tony's publicly taking shots at him because he can't handle criticism. He really let himself down.
@christopher olivarez Tony Khan is a snowflake
@christopher olivarez I would not be surprised if this was tony khans burner account because he 100% has one and 100% listens to people that talk down his bad booking and he most definitely 100% gets mad about it.
I've never thought any Konnan's comments were shit talking.

if Tony Khan listened to Konnan's advice from over a year ago, AEW would be in a much better position than they are right now... but instead they're a comedy sketch show who signs anyone that WWE doesn't need anymore.
This is such a dumb opinion, of course AEW would sign some form WWE guys, but they don't sign just anyone. And the majority of their talent is still guys who never worked for WWE. From top to bottom they are loaded with guys who aren't from WWE but everyone wants to bitch because they signed like 20 former WWE guys, who are mostly managers, commentators, and a handful of wrestlers.
@JMan No they literally don't. They've signed specific people mainly old WCW guys to bring them back to TNT and attract older viewers, and a handful of active talent that either had friends in AEW or were top free agents like Miro, FTR, Tay Conti, Mox, and a few others. Any company would have signed the younger guys it's not a crime that they brought them in to better their company when they saw talent there. Their roster is loaded with people who haven't been in WWE, or haven't been in WWE for a long time so long that they really aren't the same people and shouldn't be viewed as WWE guys just because they once were there for a run.
@@aaronh3347 they don't sign anyone?! what CRAP. Dr luther is a great signing? The Perfect 10 guy is money? Why is Brian Cage there?!
@@loooooooongstanding2141 Not sure what Dr. Luther and Brian Cage have to do with the conversation that was being had? Konnan: beloved legend
Tony Khan: a human punchline to a horrible joke
Jim Cornette once said when it comes to someone new running a viable alternative to WWE: "Those who have the money don't know how and those who do know how, don't have the money." Khan is the former it seems like. If he was just the benefactor supporting AEW and let someone else handle the booking, then no problem. If Khan was smarter, he'd realize how foolish he is.
It's in the top 5 shows on cable last Wednesday. They signed a new TV deal. There doing decent ratings and there demo's are good. There a success. They were on course to make a profit in there first year if it wasn't for the pandemic. So far it's a success.

AEW fans bashed WWE for using Big Show last year but are now praising AEW for signing him. They are fools, they make me laugh.
I was perplexed by that signing. AEW fans need to stop commenting on wwe stuff some of the Aew fans are becoming worse than wwe fans that think they know what great wrestling is.
@@christopherclinton8631 Big Show joining AEW and the reaction by their fans is the perfect example of their double standards.

Why do you dislike AEW so much? Having AEW is good for the industry. If AEW fails no other wrestling promotion will ever have this opportunity again, i.e being on a major TV network. Agreed!
This video perfectly encapsulates the reason why Konnan is so revered among wrestling fans. He's fiercely intelligent and absolutely unwilling to suffer fools.
This is why I don’t expect AEW to ever grow beyond what it is. They can’t handle any criticism, and instead of being objective and realizing he doesn’t know everything, Tony Khan calls Meltzer to be reassured he’s a genius. It’s a shame, they had a better chance than most to be a real alternative.
The fact the owner and head Booker talks to a “neutral” journalist about his show and the booking is laughable

Man, Konnan was one of the major reasons I tuned into WCW back in the day. He had a great look, innovative style, could cut a great promo and looked like a legit badass. Tony Khan is the son of a billionaire. Self made vs. a rich kid. Konnan 4 life. Glad hes back and doing better!!!

It’s so weird to me that FANS tell wrestlers on forums like this one on RUclips the why-how-when-why about the wrestling business when FANS aren’t involved on the inside of it at all. So, if a man like Konnan or Disco, who were involved in the business, say things about the guys of today, as far as what they’re doing right or wrong, no matter the position, personally, I’m gonna take their point to value vs someone who ISNT in the wrestling business or hasn’t been in it that says “wrestling is silly it’s supposed to be fun, it’s “evolved” , it’s “modern”. So for ppl to cape for Tony Khan or to cape their own futile points on such a personal level, it’s bat shit crazy to me. Love the show. Glad Konnan is doing good too.
I Agree. Also something I noticed is you give them criticism and they take offense and clap back right away. They don't even bother giving the criticism thought and validity. I’m young and in college now so I missed these guys in their prime but you can watch the tapes and see the difference. All the way from bottom of the card to the top. A while ago you, all those wrestlers wanted out of the contract and then LU ended.
I wanted to send in a question about LU, but Konnan covered it in this.
Great to hear that Konnan is doing better. I'm also glad he clarified how guys back then wouldn't stand for the crap that today's wrestlers complain about. Bruce Prichard tells the story about how when HHH and The Rock were feuding in 98 one time The Rock came backstage and blew up on Bruce and Pat Patterson bitching about how HHH is going off script and making The Rock look like an idiot. So Pat says something to the effect of(paraphrasing obviously) "It's live TV, there's not a gun to your head telling you what to say, if you're willing to take the punishment from Vince you can go off script and say what you want." So sure enough The Rock did and the stuff he said got over. The Rock took the risk because he wasn't afraid of the repercussions.
it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission
Lucha underground was such a heartbreaker. I really loved it.
Man Disco sounds exactly like Kermit the frog lol he really does it's crazy but he does lol
Ideally Tony Khan would be able to manage his talent simply because he knows how to manage business, then you look at all of the sports franchises he oversees with dad and the kind of complaints players and coaches have about him and he's NEVER had any idea how to properly manage a business. He's Dixie Carter only his dad hasn't yet clued him on how incompetent his son truly is at administration because he hasn't yet removed him from the positions he currently has that has resulted in these franchises tanking.
Dixie Carter had the excuse of having no example to learn from... Tony Khan seems to be actively going out of his way to make mistake she did.
Glad to see you back konnan hope all is well.
I had no opinion of Tony Khan as a person until he went on Dave & Garrett's WO Award Show podcast and came off like a total sperg. AEW is a disappointment and he's a goof.
the fact that Tony Khan takes that seriously is TERRIFYING. He's an ADULT and he's talking a wrestling list seriously.
I'm totally ignorant of this Tony Khan thing, and haven't been able to figure out exactly what he said after listening to this...and I don't care enough about Tony Khan to look it up. I'll just assume Konnan is right about whatever.
What a passionate promo by Konnan. Loved it!!
So in one instance Konnan says we took what we wanted but then in the next sentence
he explains how Scott Steiner wasn't able to take what he wanted because of Ric Flair.
lol And in other interviews he says people like Vince McMahon, Eric Bischoff, Kevin
Nash were holding him back and in all those instances he didn't take anything but a
loss. lol And DI playing the choir talking bout yeah a dude who takes nothing but
insults. Those two make laugh they are funny and thats why I like this show as
much as I do. Tremendous. lol
during the initial Scott Steiner heel turn, I couldn't help but think to myself "The Steiner Brothers are still in the top 3 most popular tag teams in WCW" why would you wanna break them up while they were that popular just to give Scott a singles push? Would the Steiners stop being one of the most popular tag teams after a year or two? Maybe, maybe not, the point was is that Hogan and his clique had to be the coolest thing in WCW and if that meant splitting up one of WCW's best tag teams, then do you think Hogan cared about that? Looking at how many young wrestlers Flair helped turn into mega stars, Ricky Steamboat, Sting, Lex Lugar and Paul Wight, is Flair just going to hold Scott down after helping to put over all of these other wrestlers? I'm not buying into the whole "Fic Flair held Scott Steiner back" theory
Bro, Scott Steiner said the same thing in his interviews about Flair. It's well known he has heat with him.
Disco, ironically, made me tear when he asked how many great movies and quotes do we have today? It's so true we had it so great back then and everything was an art no matter how rough it was. Today everything is used as a driving force for some political message at the expense of the viewer's interest and entertainment, trying to satsify a bunch of nerds. Not just in movies, but in all forms of entertainment.
1:46 Disco is correct there. There is nothing quotable anymore these days. Entertainment is nowhere near as good as it used to be.
This comment is years old but still relevant today. Even if there's a quotable line from movies/TV/Music it's VERY CRINGE AND FORGETTABLE.

Either I'm getting old or something's happening cause Disco's right. Anything that's mainstream is totally uninteresting today. I would say it's the over exposure of everything. I 100% blame social media for this. Back in the attitude era, we looked forward to monday nights since we didn't have access to all the wrestling we wanted on the tip of our fingers. AEW seems more interested in getting clicks then surprising people when they watch the show. Facebook, instagram and twitter are the plague!! (I'm aware that I'm using youtube to spread a message against comments tho! )
Tony Khan is a clueless Rich Boy MARK‼️😂
why he put himself at the head of creative, I will never understand.
Since Khan is doing it for the marks, he thinks his production knock expectations out the park.
'80s/'90s was seriously great in just about every aspect from movies to wrestling. Films today don't hit like they used to and I go back to revisit those old films and it's not nostalgia talking but you can see there was so much creativity and real stars that got absorbed in their roles. I can't get into these comic book movies, they all look so corny to me and Lord knows I've tried to give them a shot. Without fail I keep going back to Escape from New York or Terminator 2 to cleanse myself. Same situation with wrestling. For what it's worth, that Raven story solidifies why I always thought he was slick as fuck. That dude should've been a main eventer in WCW. You have a guy that walks out to no theme music and is getting big reactions from the crowd, pull the trigger on him.
Glad to hear that you're healthy and doing well Konnan, you gave us a scare there! In addition, I completely agree with your thoughts here. It's good that you stand by your thoughts and opinions, and don't change your thoughts or convictions based on what other people think or feel about things.

Just finished the vid. Konnan is the man who should run wrestling today! Make Wrestling Entertaining Again! Konnan 2021!
Hear hear.
Just Imagine, If Konnan was Booker of AEW Then AEW Would Be in Great Position and doing more than Million Viewership
Brian Cage would be one of the biggest names going.
@@KeepinIt100OFFICIAL Hmmmmm
Brian Cage sucks compared to Moxley and Darby
Brain cage should have signed with nxt but he brought into to tony khan bs
@@gregoryfuller9736 Once they made Brian Cage look like a wimp towards Darby Allen and use him as a prop during those cringed Khan's paid advertisement on Impact, I gave up AEW altogether.
One of the best promos in k100 history
