The items are reals but the deals are made before the camara begin to roll. It takes a complete moron to think this show is real
Items and their owners are hand picked and screened beforehand by History to make sure the more interesting items land on the show. So i'd say it's scripted but not fake.

We actually had one of these in a small museum I worked in once. Almost more interesting than the Bible itself was the fact that the blank spaces around the pages were used to record the history (e.g. births, deaths, marriages) of the family that owned it, who are quite important to the area and indeed the province (the Bennetts in British Columbia, Canada if you've heard of them).
Seller : I found the Holy Grail and got it authenticated by the highest church officials
