I wasn't sold on the song choice at first. But if this isn't one of the best RWBY edits I have ever seen I will be getting my eyes checked. I cant imagine how much time went into editing this but a seriously good job, and criminally under-viewed.

Truly a spectacular feat! The editing on this one and the seamless transitions from events to actual frame-by-frame animation matches in other parts of the series is incredible. The song fits so perfectly to hit this theme of repeating actions that, so far, have not caused any change in the status quo.
AHHH The whole thing is absolutely amazing, I am in LOVE with that part at 1:40-1:51 with all the fading through the scenes of Blake from the Ace Ops fight and yang from the festival and it just AHHHH I love everything about this it's absolutely amazing!!!!
I think this may be my favorite AMV on the similarities and differences between Beacon and Atlas. Beacon was the main cast being caught completely off guard, Atlas was them after all they had learned and grown....and yet Salem still grabbed the Relic she wanted. Because she's done this a thousand times before, she's good at this, so good that she can get vaporized for a day and still come out ahead because she had Cinder trained so well. She's met a thousand heroes, and she's broken each one, so why would she give Ironwood a second look? Which is why ending on the tree is the perfect ending to this AMV, because I think this is the moment the game changes. Team RWBY are about to learn things about their world even she doesn't know.
I just kept saying "oh my god, oh my gawd" the entire time because each new moment was my new favorite. I love how you highlighted the similarities no one else really does for some fights. This inspired me. Will definitely watch again tomorrow.

I have no words for how incredible that was. I am blown away, every bit of it was completely impeccable. There are no flaws that my eyes can detect, the transitions between the repeated actions, the drum beats, the maiden sequence, the cutting between Cinder and Pyrrha killing Penny, the travel through Ruby's eyes, the excellent use of the V8 opening scenes of the four girls... absolutely beautiful.

RAT smacked me upside the head with feels too) 1. the PARALLELS. the SYNCHRONISATION. the TIMING. I do not know your pronouns so this next bit may be edited if you request but SIR. SIR. my heart, she is only human, sir. she is only mortal. she cannot handle this. this is too much for her. 2. every single second of this AMV brings something new. all of them. honestly if I had no idea what RWBY was and you showed me this? I would watch the whole thing. because this pulls in every structural plot point from eight volumes and condenses them down to three minutes thirty-seven. plot summary get. 3. 'and the walls kept tumbling down' and you show Beacon. then Mantle. you did not have to go this hard! but you did! and the world is a brighter place for it! and I thank you for it! 4. those drums! the entire intro to the second chorus! perfection is a fleeting goal. it can be hunted. sought after with all your might. lifetimes can be spent in its pursuit, to little avail, for such a concept is by its very nature an impossibility, for to be perfect is to be unimprovable, and we can always better ourselves. but. but. occasionally, perfection can be, if not caught, at least stumbled, for a moment. and you caught it here and forced it to stay still long enough for a chorus line. if I could set the emotions that those ten seconds produced in me on loop for the rest of my life, I would be set forever. fucking amazing you funky little music goblin. 5. the old and new footage! together! seeing these characters grow and change and learn! yes! yes! a thousand cries of yes! and with the intro? ruby's cloak? weiss's summon? blake's blade (gambol shroud my beloved)? yang's hair of all things? all of the yes! in summary thank you for my life

.......... omg.........OMG!!!!! Are rooster teeth just recycling animations or are the events of rwby just endlessly repeating?????? The way you cut this is awesome but the fact that so many things repeat frame for frame in the show..... i never noticed it before. They could be trapped in an endless cycle of hate just like in (and i hate to say it) Naruto though slightly different ..... destined to fight the same battles and suffer the same defeats until someone finds a new way to move forward..... i mean obviously the goal is to unite humanity against Salem if she can't be saved but still...
They kind of are. Salem and Ozpin have been at this for thousands of years, ending in stalemate each time. The question is how RWBY is going to break that cycle. And while the process has already started as they shift from Ozpin's leadership to Ruby's, I have a feeling that whatever they learn in Wonderland is gonna be a game changer.
I was having a bad day and seeing you had a new amv really helped. The transitions and use of old and new clips tugged at the heart-strings and was breath takingly well orchestrated. Loved that rapid clips to the drum beats and the ones with Velvet. Everything really played well to the thought of "does it almost feel like nothing changed at all": fall of Beacon vs fall of Atlas, now vs then, younger/naive self vs older/experienced self. "how am I going to be an optimist about this." I can only imagine the work that went into getting all the right clips. Thank you for all of your hard work and sharing your wonderfully creative works with us. I'm going to Anime LA the beginning of next month. They have an AMV contest. I don't know if you participate in contests but it'd be so awesome to see one of your amvs there.
