Okay... I realize that I made a mistake with the order of the credits. At the time that I made this video I wasn't aware of a particular order the cast was supposed to be in so I simply based the order on what we saw in TNG's intro. Anyway, lesson learned. Future videos will try to be correct in that regard. As for the Enterprise banking in turns, I may have overdone it a bit, but I felt it would be more visually appealing as opposed to it simply turning left or right without any banking what so ever. I thank everyone for their constructive criticism as it helps me in future projects. :)
This is just wonderful! And, I agree with your sequence of the cast. They should be listed as it was in the show. There are contract fights among cast-lawyers to determine the listing order. It’s not a matter of who fans might think are most important to the show, it’s part of the contract. Unions control the listing of production positions, but the contracts determine cast sequence.
I agree, I don't think we ever got the full gist of "let's see what this Galaxy-class ship can do." And ships would sometimes need to bank to account for the differing axis rotations of varying star systems. Remember that the Sol System is lopsided relative to the Milky Way, for example. ;)
right, the "banking" is the problem? I mean, for anyone who knows anything about physics and how the impulse engines supposedly work, then either there should have been an impulse engine on the front, or the whole ship would have to flip around to stop. so the banking thing is just moot.
@@benspratling9041 I've always taken it that the impulse engines are not responsible for attitude changes, but the maneuvering thrusters. The impulse drive is straightline propulsion, applied either fore or aft. Banking either as an evasive move or to match axis rotation with a planetary body would be accomplished by thrusters and strike me as reasonable.
Because of it's flatter design compared with TOS Enterprise, banking the D model actually made sense...even in space. I loved that episode(relics i believe? Ohh...isn't that fitting here?
