Love the 5 series. I don't think it's ruined. It was my 1st reaction during the launch but got to appreciate the boldness and see the resemblance with bmw e60 body style and side profile generally is an evolution of the 5 series silloutte. It's still a unique car. Love the M sport package

The interior and tech get a A+. The exterior design however I give an F. The older generation looks much better. The design team took a gamble and missed the mark IMO..

Every 5 series had distinguished silhouette, that you'd immediately would recognize... This new 5 looks like 2 series sedan version or camry-mazda 6 clone. Never thought that bmw could ruin their 5 series design, everything from taillights to front bumper looks downgraded compared to older g30 version.
