I am a young American female and I'm going to Pakistan soon to meet my fiancé's family. My family was not comfortable with this at all and kept telling me how dangerous it was and not to go. But after doing a lot of research, including hearing about your time there, made them feel much better about it. I hope to be able to show that Pakistan is a safe and beautiful country too. They are the sweetest people. I was in Peshawar at the Pearl Continental and I was treated like you were, the people were so kind to me, I was treated like a princess. I am an American woman that was there for my wedding to a Pakistani man. Pakistan won my heart and will always be my second home. It is unfair the negativity made by Western news.

Ese Callum That is just not true. According to UNDP report, the consumption based poverty has dropped from 57.9% to 29.5% between 1998-99 and 2013-14. Multidimensional poverty which includes health, education and standard of living has fallen from 55.2% to 38.8% between 2004-5 and 2014-15 and its getting better. I researched and contacted some people to get these accurate numbers for a paper i was writing and this study is from 2015 and they are getting better. So next time you decide to troll and just blurt out fake numbers keep in mind its you who looks like a fucking idiot.
I love my country.. not a nationalist but really as a Pakistani girl I always felt safe .. makes me mad when people who never even set foot in my country decide to speak ill of it.

Too much negative propaganda on western media about Pakistan. People are very friendly in Pakistan. I visited too many countries but Pakistani people are the best. Untouched natural beauty, a heaven for those people who are tired and sick of the modern world Desserts, highest mountains covered by snow Beautiful Lakes, and highest water falls. Rivers.beaches.that kinds of weather, fruit ,vegetables, birds and animals you will never find in the whole world. Pakistan is love.
