So you’re managing disease caused by plant defense compounds (lectins, glucosinolates, phytoalexins, etc) by adding more of them? The best way to manage an autoimmune condition is to remove all plant foods.
The best things to give our children is a healthy attitude, food and environment. Makes so much sense. We plant food and see what happens when they’re well taken care of. They grow fast and strong. Be your kids water and sunshine and don’t forget to pull weeds taking their nutrition.
Couldn't say that any better.. Like my daughter, she's 12 and I'm telling/showing her the things in foods to watch out for. As well products out here too with the chemicals in it. I know she won't be perfect in life, but want her to understand things out here in life and to make better decisions

@@elianayasharahla2955 I haven’t tried their other products. I found that the chorizo was amazing though. I also like Trader Joe’s soy chorizo and Melissa’s makes a good vegan sausage too. I think Field Roast is pretty good but I don’t think their ingredients are that clean.
Found Abbot's at WF recently and it's really good! I bought it because the ingredients are stellar, and will keep buying because it really tastes great! Haven't been able to find the chick'n yet, but can't wait to try! Goes to show, when you season it right, no need to use processed ingredients.
I agree with pretty much everything you said besides what you said about soy protein. Soy protein hasn’t been shown to be bad and most of the scare around it comes from it having compounds similar to estrogen. However it has never been shown to be estrogenic and there has been quite a lot of research on soy.

If I want plants I’ll just eat plants! Thank you very much. I try my best to stay away from boxed-based or packaged-based foods or “foods”. In fact it’s best just to go the farmers market these days and get to know your farmers who grow your food. You might just need to know where they grow it soon enough.

Morning star has some good vegi options. I find that there really aren’t any good substitutes for someone leaving a full spectrum diet. That being said if you’re not trying to replace the experience, just the seasoning flavor. There are a lot of good options.
We like the taste but we hat animal cruelty. It's that simple. We grew up with those things. Then we wobei up & understood that pain, suffer & death for animals just for our taste is absolutely unnecessary. Go Vegan.

I was never a trader Joe's type of guy, but now that I'm into plant based food, I go there at least twice a week. To my surprise, the plant based food is really good. And most of the women who go there are really in shape which is a plus because I'm single.👍👍

I just purchased Abbots chorizo yesterday at target. I like to make tacos with my no grain Siete taco shells.. Never seen the beef, but will try to find it.
It works for us but that’s because of our genetics. I was a vegetarian/vegan on and off for many years but that wasn’t good for me at all. I had so many health problems on those diets (even when taking supplements!). My family and I are very sensitive to the neurotoxins in plants and the phytic acid. I find that if I even go a couple days without eating eggs, red meat, etc then I don’t feel good. But that’s us. I know that other people can’t have meat but I think that has to do with how their bodies are structured.
Not that I would buy that first product…however….as a mother of a peanut allergic son who reacts to all legumes (pea protein is a big trigger and makes his oxygen levels plummet) ….I commend this company’s allergy warning on the packaging. It’s clear, concise and educational for those that didn’t realize.

The chorizo one has 570mg sodium per serving, which is like 1/4 the daily recommended amount. Doesn’t seem like too much to me
