Cave Art Extravaganza: Grottes de Cougnac, Lascaux 4, and the Musée National de Prehistoire

Join me in part 2 of my adventures around Les Eyzies, southwest France, as I explore 30,000 - 17,000 year old cave art sites and museums, joined by friend and colleague Igor Djakovic.
We explore Grottes de Cougnac, and the re-creations of the "Sistine Chapel" of Palaeolithic cave art, Lascaux 4. Igor gives us a whirlwind tour of the French national museum of prehistory located in Les Eyzies, where he explains to us his period of expertise, the Châtelperronian (45,000 - 40,000 years ago), which may represent some of the last interactions between Neanderthals and modern humans.
