i think you can feel how well that bow was made just by watching. very nice review Armin!
you should buy a Thumb Ring. Its called 'Zihgir' . Special made for Turkish method of arrow firing
Mongolians use them as well
Armin has videos looking at various thumb rings.
Otherwise you couldn't fire much because of the pain :)
Honestly the most beautiful bow I've ever seen, they're not even as expensive as I expected
How much did it cost?
@@Trax2able i bought it for 1200 TL to USD it is 100 $

Great review, the bow designed for shooting fast and on horseback, I love the technology behind it. Greetings from Turkey.
THAT BOW IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. THE SOUND WHEN THE ARROW IS LOOSED IS AMAZING. GREAT REVIEW !
Excellent review! I purchased a #44 lb short Turkish bow from Grozer five years ago and it's still my favorite bow.
Two years ago, following your advice, I bought an Assyrian Biocomposite Definitely one of the best bows I've shot ! Grozer is a fantastic bowyer.
I believe this is my favorite review lol , the excitement and how happy you are shooting it , was worth a million. And by far one of my favorite bows..
Thank you sir. I’ve been watching your videos for quite awhile now. You sir are one of a kind. I just recently ordered this bow. Impatiently awaiting its arrival. Thank you again for all you do.
I'm always glad when you do a review and you are smiling with happiness😁
Another dreamy Bow. An amazing Bow. Nowhere else will we see such pro reviews and see Bows of that caliber only on Malta Archery Channel. Thanks for the review. ✌😃🏹
if your talking about bows with higher caliber, Historical Archery reviews bows with crazy draw weights
Holy cow! What a gorgeous bow! Man alive. Your reactions. This review is one of my favorites. Awesome 🙇🏻♂️👍🎥🏹
Mr. Hirmer, thank you so much for this review. I was thinking of buying one Mr. Grozer's bows and this convinced me to buy the Biocomposiite Turkish bow. It arrived today, and is everything you said and more. Beautifully made and it shoots like a dream. My bow is 47# at 28".
Enjoy
Yes sir that’s a very nice looking bow I’m sure anyone would be proud to own that bow. Thank you sir for teasing us all. 👍🏼🏹🇺🇸
A KNOWLEDGEABLE ARCHER'S REVIEW AND COMMENT WAS PRIDE FOR ME.. THANKS
MR. ARMIN HIMMER ❤
That grouping with the chronograph was pretty impressive.
I have 2 biocomposite bow from Csaba, a crimerian and a scythian. They are beasts! The crimerian is 7 years old for now and still works like charm. Nice review!
Great bow and great review. I think Grozer has pulled out all stops for this review bow, and it's paid off. The decoration is lovely and the bag is really nice for a fantastic bow. Will be a nice win for someone 👌
seems like this guys really knows how to build/design bows.
Insane. The bow looks amazing in every aspect.
Have you ever tested any of Attila's Keresztes Bows ? He makes a great bow. Attila's Archery. & he has a very good U finish bow.
the bow is one of those things true lovers of them should make themselves at least once. used to make bows of ash as kids but didn't understand aging and many other things so failed a lot, but a few times they went 10 or more feet. but i never knew that arrows came in grains like bullets so i learned something new after so long thanks.
yes nice bow and good finger placement :D Greetings from Turkey
beautiful bow, will contact grozer for a 100lb biocomposite
Was he able to make it? As far as I know they've made it up to 85 pounds but don't guarantee high draws.
Bro i have a 45 lb Grozer thats really strong i cant imagine a 100 lb one
The day this video is published is a special day for Turks, thanks Greetings from Turkey
With a lenght strung 45,3/115cm what can change?
Nice review. Insanely beautiful artwork on that bow!
Man...that is a very pretty bow!
That bow is beautiful
Amazing. Different class of bow. Thanks Armin.
The prettiest bow i have ever seen in my live
😲 that bows beautiful.. like medieval Cathedral beautiful...
Schöner Bogen! Ich habe den Hungarian Base. Macht Spaß damit zu schiessen. Servus aus Lübeck!
Beautiful bow
Hi Would you think the 5 shield feather better for arrow flight recovery than 4 inch parabolic since I shoot off hand thumb release
Does not make that much of a difference
there is a ring called zihgir to use the bow easier
This gentleman LIVES the bow
I'm thinking about getting into more speed type archery. Would this be a good now for that? Also, can you do a three finger pull on the string of does it pinch you? I'm not really into the thumb hooks. Thanks for these awesome videos! I'm trying to find a good horsebow, and it's really hard to decide what I want.
i stopped useing three fingers , one above the arrow and two below just because it was too painful. The draw weight also is a factor with that draw style.
What a beauty! And the sound it makes..!
Un très bel arc, que paraît souple et puissant à la fois.
Hey armin. I also recently got a grozer biocomposite turkish bow. However when I string it the bow does not bend evenly. Even after letting it settle it still is not bending evenly. How do I correct this. Is the bow supposed to be that way?
Hard to tell from a distance. Usually one can even it out a bit
Never seen a bow that I feel like I have to own like this one lol, do they make a shorter version with a 28"-30" max draw?
Not sure
I have an older short one of these in 50lbs. It is quite a bit more wobbly in both directions than yours. You have to almost be as careful stringing it as a horn bow. It's nice to see that has changed. Mine has really really nice draw, and is very fun to shoot. I forgot to mention after 10 shots mine likes to go out of shape, so I have to keep messing with it.
Who downvotes an awesome review of a great bow, with quality camera work? 🤷🏼♂️
People who don't like me and/or Grozer :D mostly little jealous egos :D
Lovely. Thank you Armin.
@Armin Hirmer you need a special thumb ring for drawing in order to protect your thumbs... Turkic soldiers (used to) wear one for not decoration but for this very purpose to protect thumbs over long uses...
Really, i did not know that :)
@@ArminHirmer i dont know if that smiley is for you know already but kind of answer, but in case you "really" didnt know, google: turkish archery thumb ring, you will see what i mean
Beautiful Bow! Thx Armin
My God, that is a beautiful bow!
Excellent review, I LOVE how thorough you are and how many angles you show of shooting the bow. Well done!
Sehr gute Vorstellung.
Wow! That really is a great looking bow!!!
Nice! Very nice! Which bow do you think is the best in this style of bow?
Can you confirm that Grozer supplies everything for that price? The videos I have seen of him making these bows, the Horn and Sinew are the same as his fully traditional bows, but the glues are modern, not fish and animal glue. If anyone has the 65lb version, what croni speeds are they getting?
Wow. Like I said earlier, pure bowporn❤️ this is an awesome bow.
Is there a material that doesn´t require maintain bow string on?
I don't know
14:08 You should use Turkish Archer Thumb Ring. I'm surprised they didn't send one with the bow.
I really like the 400 grain arrows u used in this video. What is their name so that I can order some
Sungur by Mamluk Archery
I tried to purchase for seller but there's no way for me to do it
Werrry nice Bow :)
What is the better Bow? Şimşek sipahi s+ or grozer Biokomposite?
I Want to buy 1 of this too :)
Hi Mr Armin. Im Anas from Malaysia. I have a plan to buy this bow at 52”. However, how can I request to Grozer Archery team to make the paint job similar to this bow? It is because I didn’t see any option in the website to add on paint job. Kindly advised. One more thing, how do I identify which side is upper siyah?
You can ask but mostly the bows are unique, good luck
I always find it amusing when you get giddy while testing a bow Armin. Good job sir. Side note: While I enjoy the reviews, and I from personal experiences I know videos take time to make and edit, if you get a moment, I do miss more straight up learning videos. Not a major issue, just an opinion.
This was my first real bow after a fiberglass cheapy. I've been waiting almost 2 years to see you shoot one and get your opinion. I have a 48# at 28" right now it's freaking awesome! But remember 8-9 gpp. Is as low as is go and it's still fast enough. I can hit tennis balls at 15 yards all day long. Glad to hear your opinion! I'm ready for another! Thank you Armin and patreons!
Writes عمل غروزر on the bag which means made by Grozer in Ottoman. Thats a nice touch i think because the bow is made in Turkish/Ottoman shape.
if I did not read it wrong 🙂
How do you order bows from Grozer?
Beautiful bow. Thank you for the review, great to see what it takes to get full marks.
Wow... whatta beauty!
Looks beautiful and seems to shoot well. Odd I did not get a notice on patreon that the review was up.
Yes, another dream bow😍
How does it compare to Nawalny in your opinion? I’ve heard that the sinew on that biocomposite is, quote, “made of bulls testicles”. And the siyahs are held in place with hidden screws (one guy who broke it saw that).
This myth still circles around…. I like Grozer Bows and they perform very well
So you say they are reliable? I hate when people say stuff they did not experience like it was their story.
do you ever use balls of fur or any other "silencer" to reduce the noise/ impact on the string? also I'm afraid to not use a "wrist guard", and also I would love to learn the right side thumb grip and twist. do you have any recommendations on how to learn this technique? it makes sense to use your right eye and a right arrow together, unless of course you're left eyed, and/or left handed. I know some people have a left eye/right handed, and right handed/left footed (they call it "goofy foot"). I learned the english way of 3 fingers, right eye, but the more I learn, the more I want to learn. Thank you for some very informative videos.
When you shoot thumb draw you need both eyes open
@@jake4194 thanks. Still in the build, I'll send you a picture. It seems like keeping both eyes open is almost always advisable! Almost.

Beautiful bow!!
Very nice bow! Big smile :-) best score ever wow.
I was under the impression that Csaba used real horn on his biocomposite bows and real sinew ,that basically the only difference between this and the historical composite bow is that he uses modern glue epoxy resin .
I am pretty sure he used to use real horn, on his earlier composite bows, I vaguely remember reading something about this latest biocomposite and he mentioned that it was a secret recipe of some sort. If I`ll find the article again I`ll let you know.
A long time ago he used real horn, but he never used sinew in the traditional layering way unless you ordered a far more expensive traditional composite. Fairbow in the Nederlands bought one of his bio composites and cut it up to see what it consisted of - I kind of remember it was a mix of powdered sinew and fibreglass. Grozer threatened to sue when Margen Klomp of Fairbow exposed this, but backed off when Margen challenged him to do so.
What an awesome looking bow! And it seems to shoot superb, too. This biocomposite technique really makes a difference. I have an Assyrian biocomposite, which also draws just as Armin describes for the Turkish. And it kicks the arrows like nothing.
But is the decoration really in the 390€? The bows on Grozers website for sale don't have it.
The painting is extra charge over the 390euro
Pretty bow
It is one of the best traditional bow in the market! A true beast!
Where can get that 400 grain beutiful arrow
how i want buy this bow?
Now that you Shot the nawalny turkish bow and the grozer turkish bow within a Short time frame, how do they compare? What are the main differences? What are their different characteristics?
Sadly they have different draw length otherwise I would have made a comparison. Both are amazing bows
@@ArminHirmer, ich finde es schwierig, mich zwischen dem Crimean Tartar und dem Turkish von Grozer zu entscheiden. Welchen würdest du wählen?
@@eheller3 ich bin mehr der Tatar fan ;)
Another beautiful bow....and always funny to see happy Armin showing his inner kid 🤣
Are you using a new camera? The picture looks great.
Amazing one !
Hello Armin, I absolutely love watching your videos the format etcetera, I am Native american.
I build horse bows pyramid n flat as well as long paddle n short paddle bows. I’m running out of true native american designs I know there is more.
THIS QUESTION IS HUGE!! I know tha i can not only be the one that have a hard time telling things apart. My very first bow was a grozer turkish bow ten 12 years ago. I see Turkish bows with string bridges as well.
The question is, what are some of the differences to look for as bows fall under assyrian, manchu, n lots of the bows that i review. N the difference between how that is used by the bow. Does my question make sense.
In the end most have a similar shape except the yumi which i have to own one day black striped even though i didn’t warn them, o have earned a lot of eagle feathers which are given in acts of bravery n honor. English long bows were recorded at over two meters, crazee
I think every region developed their own bow design and they tried to maximize the performance depending on the application. Major difference of asiatic bows is that some have a string bridge (contact siyah) some not
oh my god... that's a beauty! seriously that's pure art
where are those ottoman arrows from?
The arrows are from mamluk archery. Sungur carbon arrows. But I think Armin refletched them. They usually come with 5" parabol or shield fletching.
That is one gorgeous bow.
I had a suspicion that this bow might get 30 points :) Now all I can do is cross my fingers and toes that my name might be drawn out of the hat hehe. Nice review. Incidentally this bow is extremely accurate in terms of its design features compared with historic examples so there’s another five points!!
Yes my friend a very historical correct bow. It has very classic curves but I think it is actually a little long but I like being able to draw 32".
What an amazing bow!
Beautiful and,for what i see, looks a great experience to shoot it!!
Thanks for another great review!💪👍

Amazing bow!!

Absolute beautiful bow :)
Hi Armin, thank you so much for the videos. I'm watching almost 2 a day! Looking to decide between the Tartar and the Turkish bow from Grozer - do you have a favourite of those two?
I would always go for Tatar as I like the shape more
@@ArminHirmer Thanks so much for your response! In other words, is the shooting pretty much the same and I should go by looks?
Tatar draws a bit longer and the handle is different. If you need the ottoman feel get the Turkish :) if a “normal” handle is fine, the Tatar it is
@@ArminHirmer That's awesome, Armin, thanks so much.
Tried to find on link provided but there is no purchase system in place? The bows are there just no way of selecting and purchasing what you want? Very strange!

@@ArminHirmer Was going to ask the same thing, it looked really good in this video. :)
How long did shipping take for you? I've been waiting for mine for 8 months, and counting..
Thats very long to wait, what bow did you order? if it's his lvl 3 bows made traditionaly the old way i can see a few months but eight? Thats a bit too long of a wait.
I have just received a note from Grozer that my bow is ready, and waiting to be painted. That is after a month and a half after the order was placed. I paid for it yesterday, 520 eur because of the custom paint job I had ordered. All communication from the start was done by Email, based on the data provided on their website. So far, everything was up to expectations. Of course, I hope this will be further affirmed, when I bring it shooting to our parcour.
