    Never once had a problem with my GS. Used it daily in Manila and took a beating from daily traffic and never once complained. It does get boring from time to time once you've maxed out the speedo multiple times but still a fun bike once you hit city or provincial roads with a ton of potholes. Cost of ownership ranges from 8k to 15k for PMS (atleast for me) and parts are pricey. An example of our experience with parts is the center shock leaking and that alone costs a 100k to replace and sadly almost impossible to repair so better prep your wallet.

      These kinds of bikes are toys only for the boys with bigger wallets. 😅 A center shock that cost already as a small CC bike 😅 manunuod nalang ako sa mga vlogs nyo kasi I cant afford that.

    Cool lineup but can't stand with V4 Shad plastic plate. Get GiVi aluminum plate for monokey. And for choosing both, I went in the middle. 2022 S1000xr

    Had a 1200GS. Too good and never regret owning one. Had a problem with the rear brakes in which it didn’t work at all. Problem traced back to the ABS and it cost US$1.5k to replace. BMW recognises it as a known and common problem. It is not an entirely problem free bike during my ownership. Every bike will have its own share of problems so the dealership is what makes or breaks your ownership experience. it lacks that top end fun and power of the MTS.
    That’s y I ended up with a v4. The Ducati story, culture and family brings your riding experience to a whole new level.

    You said it… the more fun bike!! If you ride the bikes side by side… the Ducati kicks the BMrs dick in the dirt hands down!! Ducati is now the king!! Not that I have any experience with BMW, though I did ride one solo from Seattle to the Darien gap and wondered for 26k miles through Central America for a year. I’m converted… trading in my GS adventure for the V4 rally. The excitement and fun factor is off the scale on the Ducati, I can go slow if I want to, like the GS, but the Ducati is a fire cracker if you want!!! Good luck with picking your bike!!🍀

    Wait for that desmo service and then compare maintenance cost 🤣 That's an adventure bike so you'll tend to rack up miles faster than other type bikes so desmo service is a big factor in those maintenance cost. Last time I've heard it's around 40k+ php for the desmo service alone

    • @seanlml
      @seanlml Год назад +1

      No desmo on the new multi v4 coz it uses spring valves. Valve clearance are at every 60,000km intervals

    First time seeing your channel and enjoyed you and Kat. I’ll sub to both of you. I’m in America and have been a big Ducati fan both on the street and track. I finally got my first adventure bike and saddened some friends as I chose the GSA Rallye instead of the Multi. I should have picked up this bike years ago. @Katventures you can pickup the MotoWinch to carry with you incase you drop the bike without anyone with you. I need to do the same thing 😂

    You found the GS 750 top heavy compared to the GS 1250? Baligtad ata. My dad came from a 1250 and bought a 750. He really likes his 750. Lighter and lower than his 1250 low. I rode his 1250 and it feeels alot heavier than my 850.

    • @motojoe7493
      @motojoe7493 Год назад

      Depends on what you're doing, if you're pushing the bike from dead stop forward and backward then you can clearly feel that 30kg difference but if you are doing slow turns/u-turn and even pushing it you can feel that the tipping point angle is less forgiving because of the higher center of gravity and the 1250 is more flickable in moving traffic because of the lower center of gravity but yeah you can definitely feel that 250kg sometimes.

      @@motojoe7493 Not only my dad, but 2 of our riding buddies came from a GSA and got an 850. The 850/750 felt so lighter when on a stop light or making u turns and going offroad. The GS/GSA 1250 on the otherhand were very quick on road but not by much when there are alot of twisties but on a straight line the 1250s will be faster than the 850/750.
