LOL.. yeah if I didn't know how to do this I would have bought a brand new boat!! Of course that is thinking a new boat would be without issues... which we all know is not the case. If your gonna cruise, better be able to fix it yourself! Even though your spouse is not able to help much, just being there is great. I redid most of my Endeavour 40 by myself, although she did help with getting the fuel tank out, which I don't think I could have done myself... The ratcheting crimpers are great! And if your going to rewire, a label maker is a good thing to have. Getting into those tight spaces though for me sucks, at 6'1'" and 230... its a labor of love, or crazyness. Which I am contemplating doing again... which I should have my head examined!
Nice video! We have a Ty37 as well. Lovely sailing boats but always needs attention. I'll be doing a video this spring on suncor life line replacement if you're interested.
Thanks David! I'll definitely watch your life line video. We replaced ours a couple years ago. No video, but we do have some photos. svrambleon.com/safety/ svrambleon.com/project-photos/?wppa-occur=1&wppa-cover=0&wppa-album=53
