@@KaizenTshego 😍 do you wash every week? Do you ever co-wash? How long have you been doing this routine? I recently tried air drying lol and it was a disaster. I prefer to blow dry, but I am scared with newly relaxed hair now my hair will break with the heat every week
@@araspbe14 I wash weekly but stretch it out post relaxer for 2 or so weeks. I use a cowash for my scalp and a clarifying shampoo for the days my hair really needs it. I don’t think I’ll ever air dry. Relaxed hair is has been chemically altered and as a result the hair follicles on the shaft are raised. If you want to get movement and shine without weighing your hair down with product, I’ve found blow drying and straightening does the trick as heat lays them down. Don’t worry about heat damage. All you need to ensure is that your relationship with it is healthy. I blow dry more than I straighten and only use heat on wash days and always with a heat protectant. I don’t use heat midweek and try to stretch it out by always covering my hair and ensuring there’s a comfortable level of compression to lay the roots down when I have growth. I use olaplex no 3 on the first wash day post relaxer and always condition/ deep conditioner my hair each wash day.
I actually bought the revlon one step hair dryer after I watched this video, and I used it for the first time a couple of days ago. The results were perfect and it was super easy to use. Thanks for putting a girl on game. Love your content. Your hair looks great. Your content gave me the final push I needed to relax my hair.
I love the the revlon blow dryer I have thick hair and girl...thick hair girls can't without it and I know about stretching using other methods but it's going to take too long got braid
Thank you so much! I do think that it takes some getting used to so don’t be hard on yourself, it’s quite different to natural hair ♥️ I hope the content that I have on the channel can assist with some of the things you’re battling with.
Hey babe I'm newly relexed, and I would love to buy those products but I can't afford can you please suggest at least more affordable products I can use thank you 😩❤️🙏🏿
I never understand why my relaxed hair comes out "puffy" no matter what I do after washing after relax day... Yours looks like a straightener has gone through it and many others have that look but for some reason I can't. I tried wrapping my hair and it just didn't work
I recently got my hair cut and was told my hair was damaged for leaving conditioner in to long so is it ok if I leave the deep conditioner in over night?
Do you blow dry your hair every wash day? Do you ever let it air dry?
Always blow out, never air dry

You can blow dry with cool air. That helps keep the heat use down.

Hey! Between 8-12 weeks
You're marvelous.

How often do you relax your hair?
Between 10-12 weeks
I never understand why my relaxed hair comes out "puffy" no matter what I do after washing after relax day... Yours looks like a straightener has gone through it and many others have that look but for some reason I can't. I tried wrapping my hair and it just didn't work
hair is likely underprocessed
So beautiful 😍
Thank you ♥️
Which relaxer do you use pls?
Dark and lovely as well as Mizani
I recently got my hair cut and was told my hair was damaged for leaving conditioner in to long so is it ok if I leave the deep conditioner in over night?
Also how come you don’t use any shampoo?
I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. Especially on a Protein Deep conditioner.
Thank you so much for this. Can anyone in the comments recommend a salon that's good for relaxing apart from Candi n Co? Thank you
Where are you based? ♥️
