Nice work James, the Harley block is certainly a challenge. Looks like you pulled it off, well done. Nice work on the Knife edging the crankshaft. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.👍👍
Harley Good machining on harley cases and jag crank James..The welded up stud holes look a bit suspect. Hope when he drills and taps them theirs no porosity there especially if running hi compression heads.
Not sure what the mod on the Harley block/crankcase the owner was trying to achieve. Maybe stroking the engine. Either way, it is very interesting and excellent work, as always
Some interesting projects this week. I have found over years that people who have to thick about the jop don't want to do it . Never go to that shop again. Kit from down under
So another machine (crank grinder) comes over to the new shop, but where has the lift gone? Oh and did you see the latest Matt Armstrong video, you open to helping him with his Porsche engine?? Good advertising, but looks like a big challenge
Yeah crank grinder over. All the machines are in the new workshop. The ramp needed to go for a while, I haven't seen Mats's new one yet if definitely like to help him but I bet he will get it sorted.

Another interesting video James. Not too impressed with the welding on that Harley case. You did a fine job on it.
Cheers, Peter.
Thanks Peter, yes the welding wasn't great but I think it's hard to weld the casing
