I want to go back to the 80s and get stuck there lol
Me too! Let's go!
Me too.
I'd go in a heartbeat... If you had told me back then where we were headed I would've pissed myself laughing... But here we are..
@@Plan9-3127 yea I need a damn flux capacitor lol
Me too I agree I was born 1980
OMG 80s please take me back. I just want to gorge myself and remember what greatness tastes like 😭
I’d ❤ to start with Almost Home Cookies…with a glass of milk…and an episode of Small Wonder
Forgot about Almost homemade. Wow thanks for that. Now I want what I can't have lol
I'm going with you lol
I was a kid in the 80’s and a teenager and young adult in the 90’s. The things we took for granted then, most would love to have back today.
Gen X here born in 76. I remember all of this. Even the commercials. Nostalgic. I miss the 80s. Yeah my family and I was poverty stricken, but I still miss it. Lots of good times in there. I remember milk being delivered in glass bottles, and still remember it tasted better. I remember food being more nutritious and people not having as many health problems like crohn's disease. Never heard of it till the 2000s.
Halloween and other holidays were celebrated everywhere. Adults and children alike. Today, you get sparcely decorated houses, and trunk or treat. Not to mention, Thanksgiving was a huge holiday as well.
Sadly, they now push Halloween decorations and such in August, in Oct, Christmas starts being pushed while skipping over Thanksgiving. Summer camps for children are really no longer a thing. Smh this new generation missed out on alot. I believe the 80s were a turning point. There was a little 60s and 70s style mixed in with new coming of age tech, and slowly the computer age crept in. All in one decade. Yes mobile phones were available, but only for the extremely wealthy.
Everything tasted better in glass bottles -- I miss Coke in glass bottles.
I Agree..and I was born in 76' also. Miss the Good day's!😐
Thank Dems and the Gov
“78 here and I too remember all these
@@mikefarley5358don’t thank the Dems, if memory serves Regan was in the White House selling “Trickle Down” economics which we’re seeing the results of today…..A Republican plan!! So thank the Republicans!
Gen X here-- Jello Pudding Pops were my favorite! 😋🥰
I loved OBoises chips, too.
That ice coated pudding pop was frigen awesome lol loved them
@@spanz21 Xennial here- Jello Pudding Pops had such a Fantastic Natural Tasting and SWEET Palate to them. They were fantastic!
@@Tornado1994 Xennial ? Or Gen X
And yes they were definitely fantastic
YAAASSSS Jello-O Pudding Pops! We still talk about them
"It's just a puddin pop" hits different after the rapes.
How about Swiss Miss pudding pops
I miss Tato skins snacks. I know TGI Fridays has something similar, but it isn't the same. I also loved New York Seltzer that used to be sold in the 80's.
Root beer and the black cherry were so good! I recently found them in a 6 pack in Northern California.
My local Albertsons has New York Seltzers.
Black cherry!!
🎶Baked potato appeal!🎶
Anyone remember Bubble Yum Bubble gum soda??
Pudding Pops were sooooooo addictive. One thing they didn't have on here was the Marathon bar, those were great.
That was my favorite candy bar and in fact got into trouble at age 10 for stealing about 20 of them and stuffing them down my zipped up coat, some falling out onto the store floor and thus getting caught. Had to do a month of community service and lost my allowance for two months. 😆
Marathon Bars were covered in the 1970s snacks video.
@@emilyminchew6131 ahhhh that makes sense. That's right, that's when they first came out.
Marathon bars were the best thing ever for pulling baby teeth!
You know what you need on this list, Freshen Up bubble gum! Omg I LOVED that gum! Oh and Chiclets!
YAAAS!
My mom, girlfriend and I all miss Freshen Up Spearmint.
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ I literally forgot all bout freshener up gum. Me and my mama loved that gum. I just don't understand why they don't bring BK most if not all of these snacks, candy and gums. These children and the younger gen needs to know.
Oh most definitely. 😊
OMG 😅
I thought about that gum a couple days ago .
I loved it 😍
My theory's always been that they stopped making Pudding Pops BECAUSE we loved them so much.
Fact. Every time there's something I really love it disappears and never comes back.
I thought it was because it was too easy for Bill Cosby to hide his knock out pills in them.
I know..tha ruin everything
I blame Bill Cosby
I was born in 1987, and the PB Max was the first candy bar I truly got into. When it was discontinued in 1994, I was quite disheartened. Now, it's 30 years later, and I still want this candy bar to make a comeback. Come on Mars, it's never too late to bring back the PB Max.
Wow. Forgot those. Were good
OMG, I remember those swirl Jello Pudding Pops. I LOVED those.
I loved the chocolate caramel swirl ones but they must have been limited edition because I can’t find anyone who remembers them and nothing online about them. I can only find the chocolate vanilla swirl.
@@tarabooartarmy3654I remember those, too!! Those were awesome. The caramel part was SO rich.
Gatorade gum was just awesome, I was so sad to see it go, I ate Buc Wheats as well they really were good stuff. Being born in 1964 I was a bit ahead of this time but my youngest brother was the perfect age to raid his snacks. Lol. I remember when there were zero blue M+M s candy, something about the dye in that color. I do miss those days, life was just more simple.
Those Planters snacks in a can were so good, simply because they didn't get crushed or go stale like bagged ones.
I did not remember Buc-Wheats changing flavors, but I do remember we used to love them, then we didn't.
Wow. I remember enjoying all of these yummy treats back in the day. 😋🤤🤩
I remember getting chips in a box, and it had 2 bags of chips in it. Good days back in the 80s
Did you have Charles Chips delivered to your house?
I want Bonkers candy and red raspberry gum to make a comeback. That stuff was awesome. I aslo want wood-smoked beef jerky on a string that every convenience store had in the 80s to come back, but dehydrated marinated "beef snacks" passed off as jerky is faster and cheaper to produce. I also miss "experimental flavors" of gum like strawberry-banana, lemon-lime, mango, and tropical fruit.
Trader Joe's sells some righteous beef jerky.
Gawd do I miss the original fruit roll ups. So much better than their current version.
Yes!! I loved those!!
If you miss the old fashioned grape fruit rollups you can get virtually the same thing by buying grape fruit strips (formerly fruit leather). They taste just as good as the fruit rollups from the 80s
everything was better in the 80's, the air, the weather, the entertainment, races getting along, the economy
No wokeness & artificially hyped racism & no transgender worship either.
💯 %
Also the freedom.
And my metabolism
You're joking about the racism correct? What about the rampant chauvinism and greed is good mentality that led to many of the issues we have today? Racism has been present in this country since the inception. Just because it wasn't front and center stage of your life doesn't mean it didn't exist.
The 80s do NOT feel like a long time ago! They feel like only yesterday and I would love a redo!!
Fock a redo. I want to stay
I DEMAND Jell-O Pudding Pops!!!!!!
I want Ecto Cooler!!!
I swear that was still a thing only a few years ago
How i miss those foods and greatly want all them back😍
My favorite, that wasn't mentioned, was the Chunky candy bar
Probably because its still around.
@@Chris-cv4ttnot like the original
@@Rich-xt6yy it is exactly like the original
The only place that I've seen them in within my area is Walgreens.
18:11 GatorGum was so unique tasting, almost like an electrical shock of flavor, was so good! Honestly the best gum I ever had to this day.
You are so right. I had totally forgot about Gator gum. But as soon as I saw that package I could taste it again. So weird. And yes it was unique and good!
I miss the holiday icecreams shaped like a Christmas tree🎄 and snowman. Those were good! ☃️ The planter cheese balls are back right now. They are not the same at all.
They are not the same but it is still nice to see the cheese balls!
It is a crime that they pulled O’Boisies and Pizzarias chips. They were the best. Better than anything we have on the shelves now.
I miss real people narrating....."one thousand nine hundred eighty s"
I came here looking for this specific comment 😆😆😆
@@dew66666 me too!
😂 facts
truth
Yes Freshen Up fun and Velamints!
Freshen up yes. I ate a entire 6 six pack of velamints in wintergreen and threw up everywhere. Lol later on just the smell of them made me sick
I miss Carnation Breakfast Bars.
Those were the BEST!!
Yes! I loved those.
I liked the bars too. They were filling
SAME. Nothing beat the chocolate chip one with peanut butter spread on top.
@elizlikethequeen they were vitamin fortified too. A popular item if I recall.
Man I loved pudding pops
Me too. I tried making my own but there was no icy layer.
The Swirl was the best 😋
I miss jello pudding pops and gelatin pops with the ice layer ! ❤😢
❤OMG this takes me back. I'm an 80s baby I remember these and I also remember things being way MORE RELAXED.
NEED TO BRING BACK ALPHABET CERAL.
They were my favorite but I bet they won’t taste the same .
@kevineberhardt4431YES BROTHER, I MISS "ALPHA-BITS" SO MUCH!! BUT unfortunately @tarajordan8893 is correct, they definitely won't taste the same!
Quisp ceral, loved it!
O’Boisies was the best thing when I was a teen. I loved those chips.
So proud to b a 80's kid.
Bar None, PB Max, and PB Crisps were my favorites. There's a theme: peanut butter, chocolate, and a crunchy texture. That combo is seriously missing in today's candy market. Whatchamacallits are the closest thing to it, and they're hard to find.
Take fives are similar but with a pretzel.
A few favorites that are missing: Prontos chips, Powdered Donutz cereal, Carnation breakfast bars and General Mills breakfast squares, Adams sour gum, Frusen Gladje ice cream.
I loved the Carnation Breakfast Bars. Nothing like them out today.
Omg! Frusen Gladje was my favourite! Esp. The run raisin.
And Certs
Wow. Forgot about certs@@danieldaniels7571
Gosh, I miss my childhood so much! 🥹❤️
I liked Bonkers! They were the perfect medium between Starburst and Now and Laters
PB Max candy bar, Tato-Skins chips, Ice Cream Cones cereal, and Hubba Bubba soda are the ones that I miss the most😔
I forgot about them ice cream cones, yes they were good
BAR NONE! Was AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!!!!
YESSS LOVED THAT CANDY BAR!!!!❤
Early 80s baby. I miss the jello pudding poops, the keebler cookies and the mickey minnie ice pops. Also whatever chemicals thry used in the white shark in dhqrk bires was legendary. It just hit different.
I wish they would bring back the pudding pops!! I loved those puddin pops!!!
I miss the white sharks and pudding pops. Please come back forever
I miss Bonkers!!!!! They were so good❤❤❤
Ninja Turtle Pies were friggin awesome!
In Portland, Oregon there is a shop named Rocket Fizz which sells retro candy and soda brands!
We had one here in San Antonio but unfortunately the scamdemic forced the store to shut down 🥺😭😭😭 they had a lot of my favorite candy from my childhood.
COOL!!!
We have one here in Indiana 😊
I miss pizza puffs. My best friends dad worked for clover club and was always bringing home snacks.. My favorite was pizza puffs!
Bonkers…. I long for the days that if these are ever to be made available again in my lifetime.
I miss the blueberry cream swirled live saver lollipops.
All the cream swirled life saver lollipops were really good
Great video! Always love watching videos about delicious snacks from the past!
Doo Dads Snack Mix... I'd kill to have them back.
I miss O’Grady’s the extra thick potato chips, the Cajun ruffles, all the different types of gum and gum brands, jolly rancher stix that you could get in 10 or 15 different flavors not the 4 they only seem to make now.
I Guarantee 😂
Justin Wilson’s “Cajun Spice.”
Wid cherry bubble yum! Bring it back
Who remembers count chocula, boo berry and frankenberry cereal? Or cabbage patch kids cereal? Or chocolate altoids mints in the tins?
You can still find Boo Berry and Count Chocula but usually only around Halloween.
@@johnw8578 what about frankenberry?
@@Shanny_The_Random I've seen that (and the werewolf cereal) but not so much lately. I did just buy a cereal called Monster Mash which has all the characters and a new one (an Elvira-type character) on the box.
@@johnw8578 I don't remember the werewolf one tbh
@@Shanny_The_Random Fruit Brute is the werewolf. There was also a mummy character.
Charm's Fruit and Cream taffies. Loved those suckers!
Pudding pops were my favorite summer snack
You bring back pudding pops I bet it will be a great thing
PUDDING POPS! 😢 So yummy!
The old Mother’s taffy cookies! They changed them completely and my heart hurts still!
I completely agree, along with their frosted molasses cookies.
I always think of the frosted animal cookies with the taffy cookies!
Wow, I remember a lot of these! My favorites were the Reggie bars and PB Max. This video made me nostalgic. Why do things have to change so much?! 😞
Now you're not allowed to send peanut butter and jelly to school
Hence you send your kids to private school or homeschooling them!!
How come? I heard this recently from someone also
Because so many kids have deadly peanut allergies now.
S'mores crunch cereal. I miss you old friend. I loved Smurfberry crunch too. Bullseye gum was good. Kudo's were good to have in a packed lunch.
I got a box of smores cereal right now! General mills back to the 80s! Its still delicious!
Side note also found TMNT cereal at a dollar tree a few months ago, while the ninja nets were gone, replaced by circular man hole covers (i assume) it was still pretty damn good
@@fatkidgames4381 i tried freezing cereal it just didn't do it 😕
Kudos!!......I was LOOKING for someone to give them some love lol....🙃
Summit candy bars were so good; I loved them
Hell yes
Thank you for the amazing memories from my childhood
Shark Bites!!! They were legit!
Pudding Pops, Planters Cheez Balls, Sour Cream and Onion O'Boises, Shark Bites, Reggie Bar, Gatorgum, Mickey's Ice Pops( The head was so good to bite off) were all a staple of my childhood. This video hit home. My favorite candy of all-time, though, is Watermelon Bonkers. I totally forgot about them. Well Done!
O'Boisies were delicious. They were supposed to be like potato skins.
Yes I remember those!
They were the best! I miss them so much. I wish they'd bring those back.
My adult son still talks about how much he like O'Boises when we talk about food no longer made. I miss those berry flavored Hostess pies.
I think they were a copy of the successful "Tato Skins," which came first. I liked both, though!
O’Boises are Oboisterous!
I miss lemon coolers and pitter patter cookies!
At least Little Hugs juice bottles are still sold. Those little bottles shaped like a plastic barrel with a foil lid. I used to get one of those for lunch when I was in Elementary School.
They served those in the Maricopa County Jail in the 1990s.
Say it with me FACT CHECK. A few of these are still around
Does anyone remember the MARS candy bar I loved them
I loved the Mars bar. I ❤ almonds.😊
They were around a couple years ago. Haven't seen In a while now it's mentioned
PB Max was the best!!!!! I really miss that candy bar! Reese’s has nothing on PB Max.
Pudding pops & PBMax were so good! Miss them both.
Bonkers!!!!! The best
i would actually do something bad to have one more pb max. omg i loved those.
What a fun video!
You can still buy planters cheese balls. They come in yellow and white. The container is smaller but it's the same product. They have them at my local Shell gas station.
No, no...they are most definitely not the same. The cheese is a lot more muted and the texture isn't right.
My husband has bought them in recent years at the Shell station near us too!😊
@@souricurry Actually they're the same product. I really like the white ones.
@@souricurryI agree completely! It tastes fine if you do not know the original.
TMNT pudding pies are my favorite i still dream about the gooey oozy goodness
damn bar none was so good. havnt thought of them in ages. really craving one now.
OGradys thick cut potato chips, the occasional Velamints that moms always had in their purse, Tato Skins, the monster cereals like Booberry before they changed the recipe, Slice soda and many more things.
I was born in 1980, so I remember the 1980s and 1990s well. My family was somewhat poor, we lived in a very rural area of Wyoming, and I wasn't allowed very many of these things very often. But I do remember and miss Tato-Skins chips, Safeway's Cragmont pop, Giggles cookies, Fruit Wrinkles and Fun Fruits, Mother's brand frosted molasses cookies and Taffy cookies (I know taffy cookies are still made but they're nothing like they were), and a cheesy twisted snack that I can't remember the name of, vaguely similar to cheetos.
Oh man, I forgot about the giggles cookies. They were so good. Miss those pudding pops. Hell, i miss the 80s and 90s, period.
@@chloemommy1 I miss pudding pops, too, but they were expensive and we didn't get them very often.
I also grew up in a very rural area of Wyoming in the ‘80s.
Might have been Keebler Cheeblers, the cheesy twists.
I use to have them turtle bowls
I was born in 1986 and didn’t know these snacks existed so if they’re going to make a comeback soon, I will try them all.
Kudos!
Wouldn't mind having Little Debbie's coconut Crunch bars back
Yes. And the mint wafers…A nutty buddy type bar but with mint instead of peanut butter
Did you try the coconut cream rolls little Debbie
@@walmartynotc-jq1ps their ok but nothing like the crunch bars
That was good
Here's something from the 80's I bet not many people remember and I really wish they brought it back because it was so good. It was a gum called Bubble Fudge by Bazooka. It was amazingly good with a nice fudgey chocolate flavor. I would buy a pack as often as I could. My mother got into it too and we would buy packs and share them. It was a shame they stopped selling those. I highly doubt they stopped making them because they weren't selling because they were so popular they would be sold out almost as soon as a new shipment came in. Wish I could have some right now.
I miss the 80s and the foods and cheap gas , food
Another company produces a Bonkers clone called Hi-Chew. It's made the same way as Bonkers, but it's tough to chew and the flavoring agents are kept to a minimum over how gushing with flavor Bonkers was.
Keebler needs to bring back Suncheros. Which is never mentioned in these videos.
Pudding pops, & fruit stripe gum..
Gatorade gum was soooooo good too
I want to go back to the 1960’s myself
Fresh'n up!
Yes, the best spearment gum ever, with the goo in the middle.
I remember eating a lot of these snacks. Planters Cheese Balls were my crack. I couldn't stop eating them! They were way better than Cheetos. I would give anything to have them back!
The 80s and 90s were my peak years! I enjoyed being a young adult! I can't go back, but I'm certain I made the most of my time then.
Oooo how I loved the barNone candy bar. One of my snacks when going to the market with my mom. She would always let me get a snack while in line.
Out of all these snacks and candy from the 80s that i would love to see make a come back it's the BONKERS CANDY! I loved every single flavor especially the chocolate ,grape ,&the strawberry
Most of these snacks are from the 90’s
Bring BONKERS back ❤
Omg, I remember Bonkers! 😢
I remember most of these.
I would love to go back to the 80’s I don’t need a cell phone I don’t need the internet and I Want nothing to do with social media! It was before Obama convinced America it was racist and Regan was president and did not tolerate terrorist.
I would give anything to go back to a time when my best friends were black and Mexican and none of them called me a racist or thought I was evil. Yes, the 1980’s were an amazing time for ALL (most police officers never even fired their guns)
Well America was (and is) racist. But this video isn’t about that. It’s about SNACKS. 😂
